Poor delusional fanboys... I would really like to know what the TC's definition of a fighter is.

By the way, doesn't SSBB have a story mode of some kind? Aren't the levels in SSB games way more in depth than most fighters? Most only have a singlefloor to fight on, where as SSB games have multiple floors. Oh, and isn't there a level editor that let's you customize your own levels?

Anyway, a game doesn't need a story, depth, or customizability to be a fighter. That's just fanboy talk.

For the record, Castlevania fits the very definition of an RPG. Games don't have to be restricted to just one genre.

And lastly, why do people call it a brawler, anyway? A brawl is defined as "a noisy quarrel or fight." Brawlers and fighters are the same kind of game.

no installing before you can play your games

Actually, I don't think I've played a PS3 game yet that didn't require something be installed on the HDD. I don't think I've played a game that doesn't have software updates either.

Back before it came out, I heard you could play cross-platform against PC guys. Did this end up happening in the end?

And is it just me, or does UT3's online seem... dead? There doesn't seem to be very many people playing online. Am I searching for the wrong game types, or what? I know it hasn't been out long, but I was expecting to see more people than I did...

Osafune24 is a prime example of how fanboys will twist any statement to use it against you. Read the next line please. Thank you. Move along......peter1191

I wasn't talking about sales. Yes, in that sense you could say it wasn't a failure. But it gets more watered down PS2 rehashes than anything else and it has all of thosepointless multimedia crap. It tries to act more like a modern console;a multimediacenter more so than a GAME console, and fails to get games that most people like.

Since when did sales matter to anyone other than sheep anyway? :P

Reality check guys: the PSP is the second best selling console today.

That's the problem right there. It tries too hard to be a console instead of a portable gaming system.

By the very definition of the word (A fashion that is taken up with great enthusiasm for a brief period of time), all three consoles are fads. The only gaming system so farthat isn't a fad is the PC.
