And Sony is thankful by blocking them out of Uncharted Drake's fortune demo.. wow how much stupid can a company get?!.agmsd

That was supposedly a glitch.

But yea that sucks for Euro gamers because Uncharted = HAWT.

Its only a matter of time before the PS3 outsells the 360 remember the 360 came out a year earlier. If they both came out at around the same time the PS3 would be outselling it. The only reason 360 is doing good is because its price tag is lower and a few "overhyped games"... cough cough Halo 3.... allergies....nVidiaGaMer

Halo, lol.

Most overrated series ever.

The PS3 has outsold the XBOX 360 this year.

The PS3 outsells the XBOX 360 in Japan and Europe.

PS3 U.S. sales are catching on with Ratchet/Uncharted and a lot of killer apps for the PS3 in 08.

The XBOX 360 is not going to have a better year than this year, it's released it's biggest game and doesn't have many big franchises coming out next year really exclusively(definitely not as much as the PS3). The PS3 on the other hand, this is going to be it's worst year and it's dominating 08 and beyond.

PS3 > XBOX

I have also been worried about this. It think it's because most gamers these day like "mature" games like gta, gears of war, god of war etc. I don't see how someone would make a "mature" platformer. The only "mature" platformer i can think about is Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. But I didn't like it. I preferred the way the other prince of persias were. Ubi made it the wrong way. They tried to make it "mature" by filling the game with women with barely anything on, blood, gore, violence and swearing. My point is that it's a genre that is hard to make into the type of game that the majority of the current gamers will like.TeZhI

Sad thing is it's only like this in America really(Europe maybe too).

American gamers are too focused on realism, gore, etc. instead of games with great stories and fantasy worlds like in Japan. Look at most American games, they try too hard to be realistic, focus on mindless killing/shooting, etc. Games like Jak and Ratchet are exceptions though. You rarely get an American made game that has a good story.

Ratchet and Clank + Jak and Daxter Crossover = Win

Insomniac and Naughty Dog really need to colab and get that done.

Hard for me to really remember even though I'm sure there have been better years.

2008 = Possibly best year of gaming ever. Many games that were supposed to come out this year got pushed back to early 08.

God of War 3, Resistance 2, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, LittleBigPlanet, Final Fantasy XIII, GTA4, SSBB, Gran Turismo 5, etc.

So Many Games and Sony is absolutely dominating 2008 like crazy.

I suggest we boycott Wal-Mart.

Its an atrocious company they are setting a horrible example for the rest of the industry.

1) No innovation, the same old aisles we're used too.

2) Insanely poor customer service.

........End result, I am never buying another Wal-Mart product. Don't support them. I urge you to do the same.

A lot of failure in this post.

It's not even close to the same thing.

EA fails really, The're like the biggest third party publisher in the world and they're horrible right now.

The Platformer is not dying, it's just not dominating the industry like in the 80's/90's.

We still have a great platforming franchies like Mario, Ratchet, Jak, and Sly Cooper.

Tomb Raider is an action-adventure game, somewhat like Zelda.
