[QUOTE="OwnallConsoles"]Call it what you will. The fact is that I and may others don't want to swing the wiimote every time you fight an enemy. I work hard and want to sit on my couch and relax while I play a game. I dont want to do all those crazy gestures on the remote.Haziqonfire

Then why would you own a Wii? You knew full well it's a console about motion gaming and moving around. Saying 'I don't want to swing around the Wiimote everytime I fight an enemy' just makes you sound silly.

Ridiculous assumption all of you wii fanboys have. The motion controls where not advertised as a continuous swing. There are cleaver ways to use motion controls without over doing it. This New Zelda seems like over kill. I hope Nintendo is smart and tags on a traditional controls or this will be the first Zelda I will not buy.

[QUOTE="OwnallConsoles"]Lets see. You waggle to swing you sword, you waggle to throw your bombs infact you can't really play without waggle. Miyamoto showed on the e3 floor how important waggle is to the game.Haziqonfire

It's not waggle ... like I said earlier, it's a near 1:1 experience. Meaning what you do is replicated on the screen, which is not what waggle is.

And I restate my question from earlier. Do you even play the Wii? I mean if you did, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

The Zelda fanbase does not know what it wants anymore, first it was MM being to hard then Celda being to kiddy. The Fanbase then demands a more realistic Zelda so TP comes along then comes the outcry that it's an OT rehash, Now they want something new and different, Nintendo shows a Demo of SS outcry once again, "graphics suck" (It's only the demo and since when did graphics determine how good a game is) "ugh more motion controls" (It's on the Wii and it's Zelda of course it's going to use motion controls, either deal with it or don't play it). Just wait till it comes out and then play it, whether you hate it or love it is your decision but don't hate the game based on a flawed initial demo.

Thats because only the true Zelda fans know that regardless of how each game looks, it will be amazing

You mean to say blind Zelda fans. I am sorry but TP was far from A great Zelda. It was a huge Rehash and the game was so long it was stale by the end.

No the Zelda fanbase has been fine all along, the only bump was Wind Waker's cartoony graphics pissing off a part of the fanbase. True fans like me have been happy with each great installment.

I loved WW and thought it was the best Zelda outside of A link to the past

I will explain what I mean further.

I played Zelda TP and was bored of it. It seems like I played the whole game before in Oot. I did not enjoy the wolf aspects and the game seemed like a total rehash. This looks to be similiar.

It is not about the graphics.

It's about the gameplay. It looks like the same old been there done that routine. I want a different experience instead of the Waggle fest this looks to be.

As I've explained in my post above -- The demo's sole purpose was to show off the control scheme, not the changes in the general formula. They haven't shown a dungeon, which leaves us to question 'why'. Obviously theres a reason as to why there was no dungeon demo, which is common for a Zelda title. - And like I said above, how it's 'waggle' is beyond me -- and like I asked you in a previous thread, do you even play the Wii? If so, I'd really like to know how a 1:1 Zelda means 'waggle' ?

Lets see. You waggle to swing you sword, you waggle to throw your bombs infact you can't really play without waggle. Miyamoto showed on the e3 floor how important waggle is to the game.

Not a game, but Kinect.

I had some slight interest in it before e3, but that all went away.

Chutebox
That and Move are great contenders. I agree about kinect because there is not a single game I want for it.

For me it's easy.

Zelda Skyward Sword= Nintendo had talks of reinventing the series and I was once excited for another Zelda. What do we get? A zelda that looks and plays very similiar with waggle control tagged on.

Zelda in past e3's almost always stole the show. This new Zelda looked mediocre and barely cracked the top 10 in a lot of editors opinions for best games of e3.

your pick?
