Also, I'd get a really good GPU rather than a really fast CPU, because games depend more on GPU's than CPUs, obviously get a good CPU that doesn't bottleneck your GPU (E8400).

Gaming CPU = E8500

why you ask? well... most games are not optimized to run on more than 2 cores and that means that if you get 2 Faster cores (E8500 @ 3.17ghz OC to 4ghz+) it will perform better than a Quad core CPU (Q6600 @ stock OC to 3.6ghz) and trust me, its much easier to overclock a E8500 than a Q6600, also take in consideration that wolfdales (E7xxx to E8xxx) are 45nm, so that means less power consuption and less temps on your CPU.

[QUOTE="PNarSerja"]

OC HD4850 > 9800GTX+ > Stock 4850 > 9800GTX

Since the 9800GTX+ is just a Shrink/OC version of 9800GTX i decided to put the OC version of the 4850

Nvidia Fanboys piss me off.

Sordidus

OC 9800GTX+ > OC HD4850 > 9800GTX+ > Stock 4850 > 9800GTX:|

lol so naive.

Well... I'm not happy... I'm Really really really happy :D

My last rig was a P4 2.6ghz and a Geforce 7600gs.

Here's the new rig:

C2D E8600 @ 3.33 (Stock atm) with Freezer 7 Pro

ASUS HD 4850 512mb

4gb G.Skill DDR2 1000

GA-P35-DS3L all solid capacitors (not the newest stuff but seems really stable, good compatibility and great OC)

OCZ GameXStream 600w PSU

Lite-on DVD 20x

WD 2500AAKS 16mb

Thanks for your comments.
