Anyway, i wanted to know which one is better, if both processors were at the same price which one would u choose and why?

Im building my first pc and i have the option to buy any of those but i've heard many people saying that the E8400 is better for gaming (im going to use the pc for gaming and things like Computer Programming)

What are the advantages/disadvantages of both chips?

Hi, i have a quick question

how can i under-clock a ddr2 1066 ram to fit the 2x memory multiplier and the FSB

for example i want to overclock an E8400/E8500 to 4ghz, that would be a 444 FSB multiplied by 9

but the ram im going to use is a Kingston HyperX 5-5-5-15 2.2V and i don't know much about ram and its latencies

is it safe to overclock exceeding 4ghz maybe 4.3ghz o 4.250ghz?
