I would have to say for me the lack of High Quality JRPGs for me..mainly no HD console version of Shin Megami Tensei 3, however I do have ni no kuni (bought today) but I just expected more titles
Thoughts, gripes?

All CoD games and BF3. Horrible games which were praised by millions. PS3 saved this past gen with it's fantastic games. Xbox 360 fanboys are ruining gaming.
I wouldn't give the game that low of a score. Maybe 3/10 due mostly to it's awful hit detection, horribly imbalanced teams which results in blowouts 9/10 games, and the imbalance of the weapons. For example, you can hit a soldier with dual 50cal machine guns from a plane and only take half his life. For a game that tries to go for realistic, there are so many things unrealistic.
Battlefield 3's repair tool destroying tanks in about 3-4 seconds. This game is bar none the least balanced, most arbitrary game i've ever played, and I can honestly say the fact a REPAIR tool can destroy a tank in a few seconds is absolutely stupid.
What's next? In BF4 can you rub lotion on your enemy and kill them that way? Most overrated game i've ever played.
I'm curious, how much time have you sunk into the multiplayer? It takes some time to get used to the MP; it's differnet from other competitive online experiences out there.

Probably 40-50 hours. It's EXTREMELY addicting, but but too many inconsistencies on the PS3 version (can't speak for Xbox 360 or PC) have caused me to quit playing. The hit shot inconsistency has driven me crazy.
Battlefield 3. Not only is this game overrated, but it's not even a good game at all.
Issues range from hit detection (worst part of the game), online matchmaking (teams uneven 99% of the time), hackers (aimbot, speed hacks, health hacks, etc), nonsensical (repair tool kills a tank in a few seconds? WTF? That's like killing someone with lotion), hit detection (so bad it has to be mentioned twice), weapons damage (totally imbalanced and arbitrary).
What is your most overrated game this past decade?
I don't think there will be any consoles after these ones.

How can you say that? Console gaming is just getting started. The best is yet to come and they will become more integrated into our living rooms. If anything PC gaming has some to be worried about.
Who wants to see a new Jade Empire made? I really enjoyed the first one's atmosphere and feel, but felt the combat could have been better. The story was fun and interactive, like you would expect from Bioware. With a sequel they could fix any combat issues while preserving the feel and story. Who is with me?
