This is a big "What if..." topic, which has nothing to do with facts but just a single possible outcome. Yes you can pick any date, but what if the current state of things remained the same for x years, but what if it didn't.
Cant you see how this fails? I mean if you could find a document or a link to something that confirmed that everything you've suggested will be true up to a given date then your topic would be solid. But, to say that we should imagine how things will be in 5 years, or some other arbitrary date, serves no purpose here in System Wars. Here facts are needed.
Maybe you should have created this topic on another board. Of course you're a level one user with a transparently PS3 fan name, so I'm guessing you're just here to bash the 360.
no because for some people, x years could be even less then 1 year from now, im sure there is at least ONE person who wants to stop paying for live, and that poor guy will be screwed if he wants to play online again, unless he bought his multiplat for ps3.....and btw a big what if is "what if live becomes free (lmao)", not what i said due to this very fact.you're splitting hairs PSfanatic,

This is all speculations and any examples that you bring up should be based on a large sample, not some lone idea that you think would offset the general notion that.
the Xbox360 is more popular then the PS3 - reason why Xbox360>PS3
ok then lets look at today, what if today someone in the world is sick of paying for live after 3 years, and has decided its time to move on, then in a month from now he wants to play a game maybe JUST ONCE, and put it away again, well then it sux not to have the multiplat on the ps3.......this is why in my original post i said +-5 years....man ppl take words out of context easily around here huh
