The only one's that ive seen bash MGS4's graphics are hermits who dont understand how the ps3's modified 7800GTX can outperform a 8800GTXMy goodness, most of the time I see on these boards that if a game has crappy textures(MGS4), then it looks like crap.
Seriously, the term graphics basically stands for Lighting, Textures, Physics, Animations, etc..
Take a game like Uncharted, it may not have the best textures, but it has the best lighting for any console, and it also has great animations and physics.
Another game is MLB 08 the show, it doesnt have super hi-res textures, but lighting is great, and so are the animations. That game looks superb in motion.
Call me a MGS fanboy, but I believe MGS4 will look awesome in motion, as it should, even though its textures are bad.

plug in it with HDMI then go to the setting and chose hdmi and tick the boxes that your tv can display, and for now on instead of holding down the power button to turn it off just press and hold the PS button on the sixaxis till you see the option "turn off system" than select that and the ps3 will go into standby, then you can switch it off from the back**Please read the whole story before posting**
I bought my first PS3 back at the start of the easter holidays. It was working fine until one day i turned it on and... Blank screen. I rang the Game store that i bought it from and the told me to come down there. I was in and out of the shop in five minutes with a brand new console. I got home, set it up to my HD TV with the HDMI cable just as the first one was. It was working fine for about 3 days, Then the same thing happned - "HDMI - no signal".
My tv is a 23" samsung TV. It does support 1080i because the ps3 was running on optimal settings and i checked that it was using 1080i. I took this console back to the shop and they set it up in the backroom and brought me through to see that it was running perfectly fine on a normal tv using SCART. The man in the shop said that i had restored the console to factory settings. And that i did this by holding down the on button-pad thing for 5 seconds. I always thought this was how you turned the console off.
Now i have the PS3 set up on a Stardard Definition TV using SCART. How do i get the PS3 to use HDMI again so that i can put it onto my HD TV?
Thanks.

Its the most over rated game since half life 2.
RFOM,Halo 3,COD4,RB6V1 and 2 are all better than crysis
PS3, 360 may have 1 or 2 games out worth playing now but they have no steam left in the tank except for GeOW 2,3
PS3 on the other hand has lots of AAA games coming this year ,09 and beyond
You realise 360 is cheaper for a reason right? thats why it get the RRoD and has bad graphics
Your choice really, but ps3 is where its at
