Will i have trouble updating my software for my PSP?

bobbyistheman

You might have trouble updating the firmware because the US PSP website says that you shouldn't you use the update if your PSP was purchased outside of North America.

I guess you could just use the North American website to update your PSP when in you're in Europe.

From what I understand, you can watch videos andpictures and listen to music on a standard TV with your PSP but if you want to play games, you'll need a progressive scan compatible TV which is HD.

Does anyone know of or heard of any accessories that have come out or are coming out in the future for the PSP Slim? Other than the headphones and remote control and the cables to hook it up to your TV, is there anything else? It would be cool if they came out with a TV tuner like the one in Japan or the GPS in Europe but I'm only interested in accessories compatible with the US version.

Thanks.

Best racing game: Burnout Legends

Best platform game: Daxter (kinda short though)

Best fighting game: Tekken Dark Resurrection

Best of all, they're only $20 each.

If you play compilation UMD's with a lot of differentgames, the time it takes to load between games won't be as long since the extra RAM will load most of the games, if not all of them, as soon as the game starts up.

GTA: Liberty City Stories loads up faster on the slim than it does on the PSP phat. But once it's loaded, it's the same.

Sry didnt post right...i was wondering how much your new psp cost you after you traded in your old oneWielgoz

The difference was $80. I'dtrade it in as early as possible beforethe trade-in value drops.

You don't need the box or any booklets or anything that came with the original packaging. Just take your PSP that you want to trade into a Gamestop or EB games. It was worth $60 as a trade in when I did it but I also traded some other stuff as well and paid the difference in cash.

On a personal note, Iplay my PSP while I'm in the bathroom sometimes. And in a situation like that, wearing the wrist strap is definitely a good precaution. I just read a post on another thread about someone who dropped their PSP in the toilet. LOL, I bet he/she wished they were wearing their wrist strap at the time.
