Okay we all know Nintendo is the best selling gaming company on the planet so far..but why?
1. Why is the Wii selling better than its technologically advanced peers?
2. Why is the DS and DSi selling better than the PSP?
3. Why does pretty much everything Nintendo does end up being a success?
Answer: Thier Focus, Nintendo focuses on the casual..young gamer (not like Foebus or canana ) they look at the small guys who are just getting thier hand-eye coordination skills.
Why this works
This works because:
1. Parents don't want to spend too much on entertainment for thier little bundles of joy, and the Wiis are priced at around $250 while the PS3 is $400-$500 and the XBOX360 at $200-$400. Next the DS is a smidget cheaper then the PSP...okay the DS is around $120 while the PSP is at $170-$200 depending on where you look. The games for Nintendo consoles are cheaper too, Brand-new Wii games cost $50 while XBOX and PS3 games cost $60. Though the bundles generally cost more.
2. Nintendo's history goes back to the 80's so people know what to expect...now i'm not saying that Megaman and Final Fantasy are the reason Nintendo is the big company here, but that there history is a major advantageoverthose people who grew up playing Gameboy and NES.
3. Innovation is by far the greatest quality that gave Nintendo there success. Who has not wanted actually play sports games by swing your arm for Baseball, Bowling, and Basketball! With WiiMotionplus the innovation that Nintendo brings to the table is more clear than ever. Tiger Woods PGA tour 2010 is the first game to use WiiMotionplus in a game...and Nintendo has promised to use it in all of its games to come.
Wrap-up: All in all, Nintendo is just a smart company...and it's so wonder that both Microsoft and Sony are lowering the price of there consoles andSony is experimenting with there own motion controller (set to release Spring 2010)

So i returned terminator salvation to Block-Buster yesterday...the game froze in the second level everytime...so no platinum trophy for me :(
well i switched out terminator salvation and tekken for turning point fall of liberty and Call of duty 3
Call of duty: awesome...but game got stuck on the twelfth level :( ....5/5
turing point: cheap....1/5...absolutley no character development...(the only two things you know about him... his name is carson and he is a construction worker)
I'm, going to swtch those today
(FYI: i swtxhed so many games this week because i got this thing at block buster..that for ten bucks you can switch out any two games or movies unlimited times in one week!)

Tekken: Dark Resurrecation - Short, finished it yesterday...i'm glad i rented it ^_^
Top Spin 3 - well i already play tennis, and i wanted to see how the best tennis game was ;)...so i rented it. The game is pretty good but the gameplay is kinda choppy -----.
Prince of Persia- okay i had high hopes for this game....but it was REALLY bad..i know some of you guys might like it, but i didn't. For one thing the "prince" barely crossed a run when a had my analog stick pushed forward all the way...the game didnt the "the evil god of darkness has been released, we must clelanse the fertile grounds" it was more like the god Ahriman being released was a side story and cleansing the grounds just a "we can do that when we pass by" graphics were the only good part...trust me
Well i was playing TOP SPIN 3 for the PS3, it is a tennis game.
i was in the Quarter -finals of a tennis tournement, when i saw my opponent's name i almost burst out laughing!
his name was
S. Akatsuki !!!
of course he was from Japan and i defeated him but it was funny how of all of the computer generated names the game had...!
I had very low hopes for this movie, mainly because sequels are usually worse than the originals.
Synopsis:
Larry Daley is now the sucessful owner of Daley Devices (glow-in-the-dark flashlight, never-lose-your-key ring, etc.). when he returens to the natural history museum he finds out that a lot of the exibhits are being moved to the Federal archives (AKA the Smithsonion instituite).... He also finds out that the beloved minatures, Sacagawea, and the huns are in for thier final night alive since the artifact that brings them to life is staying in the museum. Along the way, Jedidiah phones Larry asking him to help them because Kahmunrah (ahkmunrah's big bro is evil and attacking them) LArry of cours goes to the smithsonion to help(this is a very small portion of it and i really do not want to give out spoilers)
Direction: well the director Shawn Levy makes a small appearence in the starting scens, does a good job in making sure the Movie doesn't get too boring 4/5
Visuals: you can tell the animations from the real things but they are still awesome, 5/5
acting: For some reason i think Ben Stiller is not such a good actor, but he is perfect for this movie, Amy Adams plays her part well and i give the acting cast, along with Owen Wilson, and RObin Williams a 5/5
Dialouge: One of the funniest movies i have seen so far! Good choice in actors is one thing but *gives standing ovation to dialouge writer* awesome jobe on the scenes.
OVERALL!: %?% (sorry numbers don't have upper case :P) 5/5!!!!
