[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] 40+? Anyone got that spreadsheet?DragonfireXZ95You obviously never had much experience with the PSP if you find it hard to believe that there are 40+ great games on it. The only thatthan can persuade you is a spreadsheet? Meh, compared to the DS, it's pretty far behind. True, I'll agree with you on that one. But still, the PSP was great in its own right, I just hope the PSP2 has trophy support :)
[QUOTE="PandaBear86"][QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"] We're not going to count Littlebigplanet. So that makes like maybe 10 games?DragonfireXZ95Um, make it like 40+, since theres loads of great PSP game I never had a chance to play. Not bad for a non-Nintendo handheld, right? :) 40+? Fair enough. But its extremely good for sports games, fitness, dancing, casual gaming, party games, and so forth. Oh, and on-rails games are cool. I dont know why people criticise them so much. Time Crisis is really fun.Its also not good for most other games such as RPGs, realistic racers, strategy, and basically anything that needs precision or isn't on rails.

Alot of people slam Kinect because it has several weaknesses (just like all other control methods, mind you). One of the most common complaints is that it is very poor for FPS games like Halo and Call of Duty. Wait a second... doesn't the Xbox 360 already have a library of shooting games? Does the Kinect even NEED to be FPS-focused when the Xbox 360 itself has too many shooters? I don't think so. I love shooting games, but I have absolutely no problems with Kinect being poor for shooters because I already have a keyboard/mouse, gamepad, and PS Move for shooting games. Another shooting-based peripheral is the last thing I need at the moment.
Kinect reminds me of the PSP - since the PSP has only one analog stick, most developers never bothered making shooting games for it. Instead, they made other types of games for the device. Not saying that lacking two analog sticks is bad at all, just saying that sometimes there is some goodness to come from a device that doesn't support shooters. If the PSP2 has a second analog stick, then prepare for a loooong list of FPS games for it including Modern Warfare 3. At least the Kinect will have a limited number of shooting-based games :P
Your thoughts? :)
Windows 7 doesn't need "apps" like Android and iOS do. Think of Steam, which will work on these tablets. Think of Flash game websites. Remember, PC gaming is completely open. There is no "app approval" required like the App store. Developers are completely free do what they like :)Im pretty sure to most PC gamers when they think of PC gaming they dont think of apps

There is another company out there with about a 200,000 app head start, on an app store designed specifically for touch-enabled devices........ Windows7 on a tablet won't make it any better for gaming.musicalmacIf Windows 7 gains even a small success withtablet PCs, then touch-enabled games will soar for it. These tablets are being marketed as cross-breeds between an iPad and a netbook, so the potential is great :)
Every attempt at MS getting into the market with google/apple has been an failure, so I am skeptical.DiviniuzThe reason why their previous attempts have been unsuccesful was because most hardware manufacturers (Acer, HP, Dell, etc) were completely uninterested in the whole idea several years ago. Nowadays everybody wants a slice of iPads sucess, so Acer and HP aren't going to let this oppurtunity fly past them again :)
