the main problem with Infinite is that Columbia is underused in many ways, while it could be much more.....if the campaign had twice the size(offering more exploration throughout Columbia),we would possibly be talking about best game of our times

the previous Bioshocks had  a much more satisfying campaign length and you could really get into Rapture through these 2 games...in Bioshock Infinite, its like you get a glimpse of what Columbia could have been which leaves you wanting for more...

still Bioshock Infinite is an amazing game and worth adding to your collection

All of my answers are just THEORIES not proven or tested.

1. Elizabeth has her powers for two possible reasons a) she is from another universe and therefore that universe is rejecting her or b) since she killed Booker before she was conceived she never existed and therefore doesn't belong in either univers meaning shee herself is a tear.

2. Colombia is suspended in air by quantum particles, which science fiction constantly portrays as having time bending/damaging properties.  Also you can only see the tears with Elizabeth's help and you never really go anywhere else for long.

3. Comstock likely became a prophet with the help of one of the Luteces, they were reasearching quantum particles which science is still struggling to understand leaving alot of room for creative tailoring.  One of the Lutece devices allowed them to open and view tears which likely led to him making some predictions and those becoming true gaining prophet like status.  Plus the flying city would likely be seen as divine in the early 20th century.

4. We never really know just who or what the "archangel" is, in a few of Comstocks recordings he mentions speaking with the archangel but he never reveals if it is a hallucination or something seen through the tears.

5. Through quantum particle exposure while working with the Luteces its mentioned briefly in one of the recordings.

6. The Luteces are the people behind all of the tears.  Perhaps before their "deaths" they discovered a way to move freely thorugh the tears and found out about Comstock's plan to murder them this led them to seek a way to get revenge on Comstock and they brought Booker that sold his daughter into their universe.  When a person travels from one universe to another thier mind attempts to meld with their current universe creating false memories and deleting real memories.

7. The siphon was a means of preventing Elizabeth from using her powers to go back in time and killing Comstock, and the surgery was likely a further power grab of Comstock to force her into her role of Daughter of the Prophet.

8. Elizabeth at this point is unable to create tears from scratch and therefore has to rely on ones already present.  After traversing through a tear it is likely to collapse from the universe trying to correct itself finally noting the tear and closing it for good.

9. In this universe Booker arrived in Columbia and hooked up with Slate and the Vox Populi to secure the girl instead of trying to go it alone like in "our" universe. Everything else remained the same.

10. The human brain will try to latch on to what is familiar and ignore what doesn't make sense.  It is a bit of a whole because Elizabeth makes it very clear that you and her are the only ones to change universes.  This requires a bit more thought I'll get back to you in a day or two.

Any other questions? What did you think of my answers? Need me to clarify?  All you have to do is ask.

"Lives, Lived, Will Live. Just a matter of perspective."

1.Doesnt really convince me.I am beggining to think that this one is the biggest plot hole in the game :D

2.Fair enough, although it is clearly said that they dont appear just around Elizabeth, since the people of Columbia have spotted them(said through a kinetoscope)

3.If thats the case, why wouldnt the Luteces become the prophets and abuse the power and why would they need to share their discovery with Comstock and helpl him all this time  ?

4.i think this question is connected with the first...if we manage to understand why and how did elizabeth get her powers,we might then understand what was the purpose of him pursuing her....Also the fact that they had to make a " dept deal" with a  Booker  from another universe, instead of just kidnapping her sounds kinda cheesy :P

5.Indeed it is stated, though i dont clearly understand as said above why was Comstock involved with the Letuce's experiments in the first place

6.The Luteces seem to traverse through realities easier than Elizabeth, which makes me wonder how and what exactly are they at this point of the story

7.Hm,ok.But what about the mini siphoning device used to summon Lady Comstock's ghost...what was its purpose and what did it exactly do :?

8.Indeed,but i am not convinced that they didnt find another single tear that they could traverse to another reality, since they are not that rare at all around Columbia

9.So in every universe there is always a Booker that tries to get the girl?If thats so,that means that in every universe, the Letuce brothers summon Booker from another universe to capture Elizabeth since Booker and Comstock cant exist normally in the same reality.Did the Letuce twins summon Booker many times before?

10.Its impossible that only they changed universes, since the existance of Booker in other universes implies that Booker had to be summoned from another universe to get the girl

i liked the themes and the direction the story took, but tbh i think Levine digged too deep leaving many plot holes. behind...so,

1.Why does Elizabeth have universe traversing powers

2.Why do tears exist all around Columbia

3.How did Comstock, once baptized become a prophet and make people actually believe of such thing? Is there an implyment of divine intervention at some point in the game(he must have made some deeds worthy of divine worshipping to reach his status)?

4.Comstock wanted Elizabeth as his heir because the angel Columbia said so....did the "angel" actually speak to him or are these hallucinations or lies?

5.How did Comstock become sterile?

6.I have no clue wtf is going on with the Letuce twins, other than that they helped Comstock get Elizabeth from Booker. How are they going from one dimension to another back and forth at will and what are their motives at the whole saving Elizabeth story. How did they erase or alter Bookers memory?

7.What was the point of the Siphon, what would the surgery do to Elizabeth and exactly what did Comstock want her to be with the use of these methods

8.Elizabeth traversed with booker to a reality where Booker was a hero of the Vox Populi...since they disliked the devastation of that reality, why didnt they return back or go to a new more peaceful reality through another tear?

9.Since Booker is dead in the universe where he is considered a hero of the Vox Populi, how is it that Comstock exists(since he is Comstock....how could there normally be a Booker and a Comstock at a same reality)

10.I didnt understand the whole bleeding thing....Why does the chinese gunsmith bleed from his nose in a universe where he normally is alive and well?Just because he died in another universe, does that mean that he bleeds in all others? If thats the case, then all people would bleed from the nose, since in some universe someone would always die somehow

these come to my mind right now, might add some more later

i wanna hear your thoughts on these

if the menu music remains the same cheesy japanese neo-pop crap, this game is pretty much non existant for me:P...

jokes aside, they had 1 year to correct all the mistakes of the original release,so i hope they will deliver a more accessible and polished experience that will actually convice me this time to buy this game

in terms of review score,it certainly doesnt, but what are your honest opinions?  aside from the multiplayer, does the single player feel as good as the previous ones?
