Well it works for me at least WRT Final Fantasy: I play X first and it's my favourite game of all time.

I much preferred AC2 to AC1 though. Playing back over AC1 I can appreciate it alot more than I did during my first playthrough, but I've still gotten far more fun out of AC2.

I'm not going to say yes or no but I do want to give a shout-out to the Desmond sections. They don't seem to be popular but I really, really liked them. Artistic design, fun and unusual platforming, and they serve as a nice change of pace from the ordinary gameplay. They also expand Desmond's backstory, which I definitely appreciated.

I like that so many games are bought and sold used. We live in a society where we throw away far too much, so for more than one person to gain utility out of a single product is very efficient. I also like the idea that I can gain enjoyment out of something that several people before me have gained enjoyment from. It's better for a single copy of say Uncharted to be played by five people over the course of two years than for five copies played by one person each over a few months and then never used again.

Still, I'd like there to be some semblemnce of balance. I'm not sure I'd be happy if it were impossible to buy anything new.

Thanks guys! These are the two monitors I'm looking at:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-G2222HDL-21-5-inch-Widescreen-Back-Light/dp/B002UJ31A0/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1306072313&sr=8-7

http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-E2220HD-21-5-inch-1080p-Monitor/dp/tech-data/B002OHZUB6/ref=de_a_smtd

Both seem to list HDCP under "features" when one clicks "see more technical details" so that's all good. The first one is cheaper so would naturally be the one I'd hope to get, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with windows vista - can anyone help? I realise that "Vista Premium" is in the name, but I'm a little hesitant as it doesn't specify that it's compatible.

Hi all, I'm hoping to buy a monitor to which I can connect my PS3. I am aware that if I get a monitor with a DVI slot then it'll need to be HDCP compliant, but if I buy one with a HDMI input, will it still need to be HDMI compliant?

Roughly 300 000 000 people live in the US.

Roughly 700 000 000 people live in Europe.

This would fully not explain why sales have been five times as high in Europe but it does help to offer some perspective.

What are the better PC FPS's people here keep referring to? Apart from Crysis, ever FPS that has been on the PC recently seems to have been a multiplat.

Not arguing - I'm genuinely interested.

I haven't read any of those authors, but my favourite author (not that he's particularly underrated, but I haven't met many people who know of him) is George R R Martin, author of the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Best series I've ever read.

I've never played video games too much, and I'm a young guy, but I'd say on the basis of FFXIII, definitely. It's not that it's so easy (there are a few challenging bosses) but it's probably the least punishing game I've ever played - there's never any danger of losing anything important (if you get killed you respawn immediately before the battle, having lost nothing, and your health resets to full after every battle) and it's well publicized linearity makes it just about impossible not to go the right way.

It's known that the 360 leads the PS3 slightly in worldwide sales, but due to the fact that the xbox360 was released a year earlier, I'd be interested if anyone could tell me the sales of both once they'd both been released, say from 2007 onwards?

Apologies if this is common knowledge, or if there have been many similar threads.
