Yeh, haven't posted a blog in a while so here it goes. Was gonna post this earlier, but I found it boring for some reason. Wrote a new one and added alot of stuff.Anyway ->

2008

So some of big things that happened during the year would be my 18th birthday. Didin't really rush with my driving license, (I'm taking it here in Finland), but I did rush with the booze though. Spent nearly every day of the first week partying somewhere, so I think I got a little carried away. Got boring pretty fast though, and it was time to get back to school (no, I didin't skip school, I was on vacation =)

Another cool thing was that I got my new computer. Don't know that much about them, but it kicks ass =P It was built from seperately bought parts like gaming comps should be. Meh, dunno what to say more about it. It's awesome =) Oh, and one cool thing was that I got a new monitor. I'm not sure how big it is, but it's like 22"-24", so it's pretty big =P

And the biggest thing was to move back here to Finland. It's so cool to see old friends again =) Was a little rusty on my finnish, but it's coming back to me =P

As for big games to me in 2008, they'd have to be

• GrandTheftAuto4 (kinda overhyped, but still good)
• SuperSmashBros.Brawl (haven't got to play it that much but still =D)
• FallOut3 (I didin't excpect anything of the game and it totally took a hold of me. It's a great game!!)
• Left4Dead (I waited a while for this and it payed off. Best coop game ever!)

GOTY - L e f t 4 D e a d

Some might not agree on this one, mostly because of the lack of maps, but I mean c'mon, there are five campaings and five maps in each of them. That's enough for me, and the maps are different each time. Everyone should experience this game on Expert with three good friends =P It's really epic and you just try to survive. That's how it's meant to be. Players actually have to work together to advance. It's cool on the computer too, older comps can play it pretty well actually i've heard. It uses the same engine as HL2, but is imo still one of the best looking games in 2008.

Now

Atm I'm just chilling at home. I'm starting at my new job the 7th, so there is still time to play as much as I want =) I'm moving the same day to my new apartment, can't wait!! =P It's nice that my parents took me in for the moment, and it's great to see them, but I really miss my privacy and freedom to be alone when I want to! (Am I wierd, or is this need to be alone normal? =D

My New Year went kinda well, but it was nothing special. The fireworks were really beautiful and all, but it was just freezing cold.. brr.. anyway, after watching some firework, we basicly just drank and chatted. Couldn't find my phone (yes I was in bad condition) so I ended up going to a friend to sleep. Good thing I found it next morning. The funny thing was that I had it all along, so I felt really stupid when I found it. Really embarrased. Anyway, I spent the next days (including today) playing nearly all day. Rpg games are kinda cool, you can talk on the phone and still play them ^^ works for me atlest.

As for some games that I play atm ->

Chrono Trigger. Was so happy when I got my hands on this one. I've always wanted to try it. Turns out it was pretty good actually, haven't played that far though.

Call Of Duty 4. Since five was just awful in my opinion, I went back to 4. Blasted through the Singleplayer and went to the good old multiplayer. It's pretty annoying gaining the perks and weapons again, but it's still playable =)

What's to come

Well I kinda mentioned this already, but I'm starting at my new job, and moving out.

Some games that should come out this year are:

Resident Evil 5

Wierd thing is, I hate scary movies. I hate scary games. But for some reason, I still watch and play them. I like the scare. And when you finish the game, you feel like you accomplished something. It's wierd and hard to explain =D

Just finished our christmas meal (which took about three hours) and handed out our presents. It was really cool to see the whole family together, since it's been a few years from the last time. Some things I got as presents where new speakers, a lamp and lots of gift tickets or whatever that is in english.

It's good to come back to GS and see you all here, and that's one of the main reasons I even come here! =P I hope you had/have a good christmas too!

Im currently playing DeadSpace and Fallout3. Or, was playing. For some reason, they don't seem to work anymore. They may start occaisionally, but they crash eventually. It's not that I'd have any viruses or anything of that crap - I've been thought all kinda stuff about computer privacy/virusprotection. It started after I defragmented my disk, might have broken some files or something.

I'm pissed off. I haven't tried re-installing yet, but I guess I have to do that... I started to get into FallOut3, and I wanted to play really bad =c Well, I guess this just happens. I'll try to get this fixed.. As for problems, people on GS have had lots of them. Just check some blogs and you'll see what I'm talking about. There are redcircle 360's, Internet problems aso. This isin't anything compared to those, but it's still frustrating.

PM me if you want the name/link.Anyway, I've got a few of them bought btw - Crysis and CallOfDuty4 would have to be my favorites =) If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out! Just make sure you have a sick computer before even thinking of crysis. On the other hand there is a standalone expansion, Crysis Warhead which is a bit better optimized. Not as pretty though imo, but you probably won't notice any difference if you aren't paying attention. Crysis is still today the most pretty game ever made. It's a good game in other aspects too =)

So christmas is nearing. I'm glad to say that I'm back in Finland. I should start to search for a part-time job or something to do for a year, since I'm starting to study after a years break. Cool to see most of my family every day =) I'm living with my parents atm, but I'm searching for a small rentable place. We'll have a big nice dinner with the whole family some day soon. Haven't seen all my brothers on the same time for a long time so it's gonna be fun! =P I'll be spending some time with my old friends too. I'm really excited to see them!! There are some I haven't seen in over three years. Some came by last year though. Anyway, when I think about tomorrow, I can't stress about the not working games. They aren't that important =P

I haven't been blogging in a while as you may've noticed, but that's about to change =P I'm off rpg's for a while, I'm trying to play something else - for a while. I've been playing Deadspace for a few days. It's pretty scary in a way, and it has some character development. There are some things I don't like about the game, but you can usually ignore those. In short, it's an ok game - worth playing through, atleast from my experiences with the game. I'll be posting a review about it when I finish it.

I'm in a need of new games, and as some of you may know, my wishlist is pretty long. I've chosen a two games that I'll buy/get, and here are my choices. I'll get all the games in my wishlist eventually. Reviews coming up for every game I get.

Fallout3

It's a quality RPG, similiar to Oblivion in many ways. I tried it out and it seemed pretty deep and fun. The choices you make really make a difference. The setting and plot is something different and it feels like fresh new air.

Assassin's Creed

Repetitave as it might be, I need to get to play this already. I can't wait to get to jump on the rooftops and backstab people. Or to slit their throat. Yes, I'm sick.

Another games which I'm playing ocaisionally at the moment is TeamFortress2. It's just pure fun, and I like the graphical look. It has some depth too =)

I've got lots of games to play right now, so I won't be bored for a long time =)

Nothing special to blog about on the personal side this time.

My testweek just ended! It's so sweet! Christmas is nearing too, kinda. I haven't really been thinking about the presents or anything, I'm more excited about seeing my family =D Well there is almost a month left for christmas, but it doesen't matter.

I won't be here far a while, since I'm going to hang out with my Swedish friends while I still can. I hope that I'll stay in touch with them later. I've been really active on GS btw, I'm trying to get to lvl10 at soon as possible. It doesen't feel like a chore or anything, I really like it here. I look forward to posting new videos/reviews/pictures/comments and blogs later on. But for now - I need to have little break. So you won't see me for a few days or more.

I just made a new banner image, as you've probably noticed. It's nothing special - but it's FF related =) Edea is one of my favorite characters, even though I didin't really like FF8 as much as many other FF's.

I need to play a new game through. I want to write a review =) I might review a game I already played through too. I'll actually do that now

I played my old maxed FF7 save yesterday. Imageshack failed my so I couldn't post a picture about it. Sorry for that!

Today when I woke up, I saw more snow than  yesterday. Everything was covered in ~20cm of snow.

Finally some snow for christmas. The light reflects a bit from it too, and everything isin't so dark anymore. It shouldn't be anything special to have snow here, it's still little compared to winters ten years ago, but it's still something. Last year we didin't almost get any snow at all. Maybe christmas won't suck this year =P I'm don't really have the christmas spirit just yet, but I'm already eating gingerbread and drinking glögg.

To more personal stuff -> The new friend that I made earlier (mentioned in some earlier blog) and my older friends went shopping a few days ago. Their cruise had been fun, but as I said before, it was mostly partying. Really glad I didin't go with them.

My brother called the other day. He said he wanted the 360 back. That's not why he really called, I hope =) Anyway, I promised to give it to him when I get back to Finland. We share all our consoles btw, and me and my three brothers own almost all of them. They don't really play consoles anymore though, so practically I own them all. Sometimes someone wants to play some random game, so ofcourse, I let them.

Today at school was kinda loose, we just finished our project and I wen't back home.

Well, thanks to nftw, I decided to start playing FF4 or FF5. Unfortunately I am probably going to have to use an emulator. =c

I think one of my brothers has either one of them on PSX. Not sure, but I still can't play them. FF5 is kinda special, it's the only FF with 5 characthers in a battle. Suikoden had six in 2, which is a great game btw.

That was about it. I hope you get some snow before christmas too =P Even if you don't celebrate christmas.

After weaking up, I realised that it had snowed on the night. Not that much, but still a few centimeters.

So I was kinda bored and played som N64 (on emulator) just a half an hour ago.  I play every now and then, but not like every day. Anyway, I started out against one CPU, lvl9. It was really easy, so I changed to 2x lvl9 cpu's - it started to become challenging. Eventually I just turned on 3 lvl9 zombiekong's(green dk's =) ). After a few games I actually won! I have it recorded on Fraps. I added some epic ff music on the side. I'll upload the video once I reach lvl10 and I'm allowed to do that.

Yesterday I was out partying, but it wasn't anything special. It was just cold and I went home pretty early.

I'd like to play some new game and review it, but I don't have any ideas. Maybe Left4Dead, but I don't own that game just yet. It's a great co-op on basis of the demo. I really liked it.

So, it's done now. Go read it =)

I actually couldn't take the school reading anymore so I had to do something different. I tried to keep the highquality in my review, and I hope it shows. Posts some opinions here btw.

I totally lost intrest in FF9 btw =l I just had a too long break. I might get on it later, but for now, I'm moving on. Sorry for the ones waiting for the review. I let you down =c.

And to more personal matters, once again:

So, my basically all my friends went on a fewdays cruise yesterday, so I was kind of alone at school today. I personally didin'tgo with them, because I know it just turns out to be another drinkingfest. I just need to practice the math and physics. It's not that I don't like partying, but I didin't feel like it this time.

Anyway I hang out with some guys mostly between classes. So they talked me into coming over and play smashbros for a while. We just kinda chilled and had a tournament, which I ranked 2 of 6 =P I played Cpt. Falcon and Mario.

One of they guys girlfriend was there too and I talked a lot with her. I knew her from before, but hadn't really talked with her before. She was actually really nice and I guess we became what you might even call friends. I talked a lot with the guys too, but as usual they found it somewhat fun that I knew so much about games. They're fun and all, but I probably wouldn't hang out with them if I got to choose between them and my regular peepzz =) Well maybe I should give them a chance, atleast they play videogames =P As for my new friend, we promised to go shopping some day soon.

Blah, i'll check the forums and then back to reading.
