I'd like to use myself as a good example for the Wii. I was a casual gamer, I had a ps2 last gen but mainly played games with other people,nothing "hardcore" forthe most part. This gen, I had no intention of buying another system because I expected them all to be overpriced powerhouses that wouldn't justify their purchase. When the Wii came out, I was hooked on its innovation first and its price tag second, so I made the leap and now the Wii has turned me from a casual to a hardcore, and I'meven looking into a X360 whena price drop hits... an example of the Wii saving, not killing, gaming.
a deeper story would be nice.i dont need final fantasy epics that get in the way of the game, butgood vs evil and save the princess gets kind of old, maybe have link caught in between two warring factions - gorons v zoras maybe? also, more in-depth swordplay than just slashthe wiimoteto slash the sword.
I'm happy with the power of the console, but not with developer efforts on the console. I find it sad that the best-looking game is a gamecube port, and it's about to get topped...by another gamecube port.

also, i would prefer more wii games aiming for a specific art style rather than hyperrealism, i.e No More Heroes, Mario Galaxy, etc.
