I just installed the new driver, no problems now. I think the previous version messed with the display ports on the cards or what output the card was trying to use. I switched my wires around and it began to display picture after booting up again. I think it may have switched which card was my default card to be connected to the monitor. May explain why it messed with multiple monitor set ups as well.

@04dcarraher: I have tried that, but I still get the same problems. I have SLI, which could have something to do with it I suppose. I may just roll back my driver until they release a fix.

@locus-solus: Yeh, my PC has been remaining with a blank screen at times when booting up. Whereas at other times it boots up with no problems. Have to reset my PC every now and again.

The reason I went for 1440p is because I knew that I wouldn't be able to run a lot of new games at 60fps with ultra settings on a 4k monitor. I thought it would be better to get a high end 1440p monitor with lots of features. It is good, especially when having G-sync as well. G-sync helps compensate when there a certain games you cannot run completely smoothly. However, like other people have said, you may need to upgrade more frequently as the FPS dips fairly quickly with each tier of graphical settings on a game at 1440p. In terms of visuals, it is very nice and worth getting.

With 1440p you will usually find there is some new games you can run with high settings, and others that aren't even at a playable framerate.

I am loving the game personally. I haven't had many issues in terms of server crashes or glitches/bugs. The game runs well on the highest settings as well and looks good. The fire fights, especially on the harder difficulty, are a lot of fun. Even more so if you are teaming up with people.

I doubt the game will ever be as magnificent and flawless as the hype that was generated by its promotion over the last few years has made people think it would be. In terms of my expectations for the game, I think it has exceeded them. I thought it was just going to be another shooter, but it does set itself apart from others in my eyes. I wouldn't say it's the best game I have ever played, but it is a good, solid game.

There are some fake reviewers out there as well. It's just people who like to see a game that has been hyped to the maximum fall completely on its arse. You can tell by the 0/10 scores with only and hour of play time clocked up. Either that or the review is just brought on by slight frustration at being restricted from playing the game for five minutes due to a server error or something else near launch time. There are some decent negative reviews out there that I have read though, which are fair. At least they explain why the game isn't as good as they thought it would be and why they dislike it. Rather than just saying Ubi**** and not giving any explanation whatsoever.

Love the game. I have spent the last three hours literally searching every corner of the first area of Manhattan. There is quite a lot of clothes in this game, that is what I have learned from it. I haven't really had to buy anything from vendors yet. Everything I own has been acquired through exploring, and the gear is pretty good. Completed a few side missions, I still haven't established the base of operations yet though.

There are outside areas that look great, but it goes from looking great to looking bland in other areas. I was having a fire fight earlier and a snowstorm I could not even see in started. I like the snow storms though. I think they will help in avoiding some people in the dark zone later on. Probably looks better at night. The game runs smoothly though, which is great.

Hey,

After installing the latest Nvidia driver, I can't seem to access my MOBO setup screen when booting up my PC. I have tried reinstalling the GPU driver, but this hasn't helped. If I press delete to access the setup when booting up my PC the screen remains blank and my monitor says no display port signal and turns itself off. My PC does boot up if I don't do this, however. I get normal picture if I don't try and access the MOBO setup.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Thanks

I haven't had many problems. I had one crash during a mission a few other online players, but nothing apart from that. It looks great and runs well on the highest settings with no AA.

I played it for about 3 hours with no problems last night, haven't played it since then due to sleep and being busy. Booting it up again a bit later and looking forward to it..

Steam only says one hour now. Which would make it around 12:00 AM BST. It was aiming for early morning before.

I have to admit I gave in to the hype for this game after playing the beta. I have pre-ordered and pre-loaded the game already. I was thinking whether or not I had made the right choice after pre-purchasing it, I hope I don't regret it.

Luckily, it is my week off from work so I should get a good idea on how good the game is by the end of the week.
