[QUOTE="Pelicans"][QUOTE="9mmSpliff"]yeah you are right. socket am2 is socket am2+, the difference is within the board, not the socket. I love AMD myself, but was dissapointed with them this last gen. But their new Deneb coming out soon here is very promising and could grab my attention for my next build. But how come you never went Intel?9mmSpliff
Ok thanks. and i never really cared for intel.

I know the feeling, I was with AMD for 4years and lovede them, was really looking towards Phenom, but they cant overclock and they are slower clock for clock than Intels.

I say grab a E8400 @ 3.0ghz and a Intel P45 chipset motherboard.

They cant overslock at all??

you only need to use 1 bridge if you are running 4850 in crossfire. the 2 bridges are for Tri and Quad setups. 9mmSpliff
I will be using 2 and doesn't that mean i will need to connect them with the bridges???

So i need to just use the 2 bridges that come with the cards and put them next to each other in the PCI slots and then use the bridges. And i dont know if this is a good Heatsink. http://www.directron.com/clp0467.html

This is the mobo This is the card

It says it has 3 PCI slots with CF support. Now all i want to know is if I add 2 of these cards to the board will i need to use the Crossfire bridge with them to get them both to work or not. Note that i am new to building and cut me some slack.
