Hehe if you say that about MGS4 then either you played the first hour, or you havent played it.
There are plenty of awesome games out there, but if you are not enjoying them then why don't you go find a new hobby? Instead of playing sports games why dont you go out and, I dunno, play some sports.
Do alot of the tutorials in create mode. You will unlock a bunch of stickers that are just straight colors and gradients. You will be able to color things much easier with them then with the object stickers.
Thanks for any suggestions you guys can give me, I'm really excited about adding a 360 to my collection!
You don't need to get a group of 10 right off the bat, most of the teams I brought up in all the disgaea games usually consisted of only 6 members. Plus it is nice to keep some room open if you like some of the story characters you get.
Now as for a few game tips, healers in this game are very weak and difficult to level generally speaking. A better bet would be to get a Mage with a healer pupil, then have the mage learn the healing spells. I personally didn't use healing through the entire "main" game, only when I got to the endgame stuff did I start to work on it.
Next, get a ninja, get a ninja, get a ninja. This guy has speed that makes him invunerable, attacks miss, magic misses, and also (saddly) Healing usually misses. They are a great asset to the team.
Finally this game is ALL about grinding. you will have to do levels over many times to level up your characters to get them rediculously powerful. If you are having trouble with an area, go back a few levels and become more powerful. This will also get you Hell so you can buy better weapons and armor. Also have fun with the game, if you want a healer who weilds an Axe and only casts status magic then you freaking make that Healer! Grinding and Custimization, this game is packed with it and if you don't use it to your advantage then you will have a bit of difficulty going through the game.
Also you may want to check out some of the PSP or PS2 guides for Disgaea, there is a TON of useful information there!
[QUOTE="feli453"][QUOTE="PenguinGod19"]Tactics really is a great game, but the slowdown that there was in game made it almost unplayable for me. Have they updated this in some way or another to kill that slowdown yet?Furycliff
what do u mean the slowdown??and they updated the game a lot so maybe they did all i know is that i love that game
The battle animation had some slowdowns from the PSX version. Honestly its not that big of deal, but for people that played the PSX version a lot it would be annoying.
Hehe yep, and this was the game that I used to bring with me on trips. I had a tiny PSX with a screen hooked up to it and I would play it all the time! If you never played the PSX version then I am sure you don't notice anything. I must say the artistic movie scenes are well worth it though, amazing.
