In Neogaf, the latest OXM details are in aswell as scores but the most controversial highlight of the news is that the highly anticipated Call of Duty 4 will have a campaign mode of only "5-6 hours" long.

If this is true, it should get a rating of an 8 just like heavenly sword(since that was the only complaint by GS about the game). Interesting...

I wonder if ps3 came out 1 year first with all its features and the 360 came out 1 year later with all it's features, would xbox fans think the same way or conceed victory to sony?

I've heard plenty of stories about how gamestop/eb/walmart etc have employees that tell customers that the ps3 is useless and that the 360 is the way to go. A curious shopper will probably be persuaded by what the employee says unless they went to the store specifically for the ps3. I can't see an employee say "Well there are a lot of games coming out soon for the ps3." Or, saying "Well for 50$ more you can get a blu-ray player." Sometimes it seems like ps3 doesn't have a fair chance b/c consumers aren't as educated as we are who search the forums for knowledge. Ps3 Also needs more tv advertisements. I barely see any. What do you guys think?

In my opinion an educated purchaser would definately go with the 360. What "educated" reason would you have for buyin the PS3? Unless your a videofile and in love with blue-ray, I see no reason to buy a PS3.

Serious gamers go where the games are. Also, I've never been a big fan of mixing movie media with my game systems. I own an xbox360 for gameing. I went out and bought a standalone HDDVD player for watching movies. You can get them in the $200-$250 range nowadays. Just as many studios now support HDDVD as blueray andHDDVD is cheaper. Will be watching Transformers this weekend!!!

I actually think the opposite is happening in stores. Uneducated store workers who don't own either system and don't know anything about the technologies are telling people PS3 and blue-ray are superior, when that simply isn't true.

In other words, uneducated people buy PS3s. WOW

It's funny you mention this... when I purchased my PS3 at a local gamestop... they asked me: 'why?' ....

When I asked about the availability of Warhawk... and if it indeed came with the headset.... they told me: 'you must pre-order the game in order to get the head set'.

When you see the 3 kiosks (for PS3, Wii, and 360)... the 360 display is in the center of the store... and ps3 and wii are shoved in the corner... and for some reason the lastest game is playing on the 360... while the ps3 and wii is usually off...

As for me I will never shop at that gamestop ever again...

I go to gamespot a lot and many differnet ones. When ever I have heard a employee compare the two to a customer. The PS3 always wins. I even seen when someone came in to buy a 360 and the rmployee changed his mind to buy a PS3.

Wow, that's the first time I've ever heard that. Not saying you're lying.
