I don't find BF3 that impressive. Caspian Border barely looks any better than Crysis 1,

Looks as bad. And Fallout 3 has better water.

You can only go whereever you want in The Witcher 2 in acts. You can't go back to say Flotsom if you're in Vergen. Kinda sucks. :(
