Agreed, I literally stopped visiting this site altogether since the redesign and the forum change.

The old one had problems but this is just terrible.

Not to mention every video having freaking ads, why would I EVER watch gameplay or a review on a terrible media player with a 30 second ad when I can watch the same gameplay on Youtube without atrocious ads?

Today I got asked by Gamespot to do a survey.

Okay fine, if I can help improve the website experience, sure.

But I get asked questions about hardware electronics outside of videogames and where I buy those.

Now I understand building a profile of your visitors, but what use does Gamespot have for knowing

where I buy my tv's or laptops, what specifics are important to me about these products,

what kind of influence I have over my friends and family in their purchases, how much I spend,

other than selling this to (outside) marketing parties?

Call me paranoid but this is neither related to this website nor to the specific videogaming audience.

Honestly, I want to know.

Dragon Quest 8

Preordered MGS 5 and Dark Souls 2, can't miss those ;)

Try a genre out of your comfort zone, play on a different system, or even pick up a snes, genesis, ps1 or someting like that and dive in the classics on those consoles for a while until modern games feel fresh again.

Great game in almost every aspect.

The gunplay is still a tad unsatisfying imo tho, and the guns all feel really similar, you don't feel any difference between an ak, m4 or g36c but it can be forgiven because of the decent amount of weapons and it being a third person game, not an fps.

The world is great to explore though the minigames are still mostly pointless and unsatisfying.

Driving feels great,humour is top notch.

Framrate is a tiny bit sluggish at times but that's also forgiveable for a console game that's this immense. It's still a technical masterpiece as is.

It's hard not to reccommend.

I used to love manuals from games like Pokemon, Metal Gear Solid, Command and Conquer, they had artwork, backstory, overview of all the units, items, they were colorful, it was like reading a book about your favourite game.

guns??? do you even know what games you're talking about? XD

they are both mostly about melee combat.

in any case, out of the two, I would reccommend Dishonored aswell.

Oh I report them. That's the thing, I've been reporting tons and tons. And most of the time action is taken. But that's just cleanup. Aftermath. The community itself I feel has gotten rotten, whatever happens with the offenses is not that relevant for me, as they attract similar behaviour and scare off any decent people before action is ever taken.

If I can read through hundreds of comments in a few minutes on the news posts that are obvious to attract harassment and trolls, then why can't the mods?
