It takes you 14 months to get about $190?! Damn, isn't that only like $13 or $14 a month? Maybe a price drop isn't the real issue, and instead you might want to get a job, re-organize your priorities (As in, if you live on your own and money is short, maybe the DSi isn't your most important goal right now, I mean, for now, it offers nothing the Lite doesn't except a bad quality camera.), or just try to grab it as much extra cash as you can monthly, to drastically reduce that time, because a year and 2 months seems like way too long for $180 plus tax...
Yeah, I do actually. I thought the change to this .5 system makes the rating of the games too broad, while the old-system allowed people to see how games matched up (same genre-wise, and overall value-wise) when you need to make decisions as to what purchase would best suit you. Nowadays you see two games rated 9.0 and have to resort to the opinions of the people that copped to make choices. The forums are becoming more useful to consumers than actual reviews.
I don't feel that it's completely necessary, but tendencies point to most of the highest-rated games being rather violent in the past 2 or 3 years, though I would take an E rated game like NBA titles or Kingdom Hearts over a game that's main selling point is over the top violence with no good gameplay.

I have seen numerous people on this site and otehrs (i didnt say him specifically), say that Chinatown Wars sucks because its got a chinese guy as the main character and ive also seen people say San Andreas sucks because there is a gangster guy as the main character.
Er..CJ is hardly gangsta, more so a pawn in the bigger scheme of things. But hey, I know people let such, what may seem to us like, little things dictate their feelings on games, and sadly, on real things in life.

If his comment bothers you then so be it, though that is rather sad considering it's just a game, and it should not be that important that you feel the need to support it so vehemently. And note, the guy said he doesn't want to play it because it looks boring, not because of a chinese main character or any of that.
