Oh, you're so mature by insinuating that he is young. This may be a shocker but, no one gave a s*** about the original Xbox when compared to the PS2. So he may have very well just not owned an Xbox, and didn't know about the old, ugly looking, Xbox Live. And about the $400 thing. Since the best Xbox Live game came out in 2004, your argument doesn't really hold water. And even with that, I doubt that a lot of people started using Xbox Live before the 360 came out, considering the first console's sales. I personally prefer Multiplayer, because I always have an assortment of real friends to chat, play, etc. with. So when I get on during the weekend, we usually do Competitive in CoD: WaW, or I have a friend or two that prefer Co-Op, so we'd do that. And when we all lose interest, we go seperate ways, but still Party Chat so we don't have to hear any of the annoying people that tend to play XBL. At points like that, I pop in Fable 2 and try to make a bit more progress.

[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"][QUOTE="hakanakumono"]western ideals that do not match up with reality.hakanakumono

What, you mean Squall's features are realistic? Am I living in the wrong reality here?

How are they unrealistic? A real person could look something like Squall.

Probably more likely than this:

That's Marcus's body armor that makes him look really built. If I remember correctly, before he put on the armor, he was more believable looking. Though, Cole and Dominique, who DO show muscle are ridiculously muscular. Carmine looked closer to the norm than any other main character though.

What about this character though? He's from a Japanese developer and he's about as manly as it can get. I think they're just lazy, they can make unique character designs if they really want to.

Just look at the tatoo on his arm. He is a stereotype of an American. Buff, muscular, and nearly as manly as Chuck Norris.

[QUOTE="Panther501"]I would probably say all fighting games. I just mash buttons.BlackPlague1

i thought that was the point of fighting games?

There is supposed to be some kinda combo strategy, but honestly, who has time to scroll through the long lists and master each move? I'd have to say I'm just Average-A Little Above Average in Fighting Games I'm rather Sub-Par in Racing Games. I'm A Little Below Average in RTS Games. I laugh at Rhythm / Music Games because I don't like rock, so I'm terrible at them. I get a wierd nauseating feeling in my stomache whenever I get stuck in any linear game for more than 30 minutes, so I tend to suck at Single Player Games.

Like an 8.5, I found the Standing-Still-While-Shooting thing to be a bit ridiculous. The story mode probably won't be that long, and the equipping menus can seem really clunky until you realize that there are short cuts that allow you to completely ignore them unless you're sharing items with your partner. Graphics are fantastic, action feels intense, and the two minibosses in the demo were challenging.
