Well I decided to get Photoshop again the same way as last time (w/ keygen). To celebrate that I made a new profile theme based off Metroid Prime 3. I'm so happy that I have Photoshop again because it is 50,000 (and more zeroes probably) times better than GIMP. In other news, I start school tomorrow which is something I do and don't look forward to. I have to wake up at 6:30 just so I have time to eat get dressed and go to school. Mostly I wake up that early because it takes me 10-15 minutes just to wake up. Our soccer teams finally split up between Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams. We just split up today and I'm playing both JV and Varsity. I'm a Junior so I can play both levels. Our first game is this Friday. I'll let you guys know tomorrow afternoon what classes I get. Hopefully I don't get an early lunch again this year. Our school day consists of 12 periods. Periods 1,2,3,11,and 12 are 40 minute periods. Periods 4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10 are all 20 minutes since lunch periods are half of those and we have have double periods except our lunch then. Last year I had period 4 lunch which is about 10:30 or 11:00 AM.

It seems like level 20 takes forever. I'm now finally level 21 Rescue Ranger. They should give out emblems on Gamespot that say I survived level 20. lol.

I just did a drawing of Samus based from an image from Metroid Prime 3. It took me about 20-25 minutes to draw and I haven't put color in it. I did it in pen so I couldn't erase or anything and it is on green paper like my last drawing. It came out great so I want to show you guys. If I decide to color it in GIMP (Which probably won't happen) I'll post it.

Warning: This blog post may be longer then the other one that I thought might be the longest.

So I'm going to be covering alot of stuff in this blog that is going to has happened in the couple weeks and what is happening this month.

School: School for me is finally going to start on Thursday. Not much good about it since it is my Junior year in High School and probably the hardest. The only good part about school is seeing friends again.

Sports: We've been practicing most of the summer vacation both morning and afternoon. Our first game is going to be on Friday against a team we beat every year pretty much.

Speaking of sports I'm sure some of you heard about Antonio Puertas, the soccer player who died of a heart attack on the field. He played for Sevilla (A Spanish team). He was a good player and will be missed by many.

Which leads me to......... my favorite soccer team, AC Milan (Italian Team) played Sevilla for the Supercup and won 3-0 with some nice goals and a penalty shot that was scored on a rebounding header by Kaka.

Movies: I saw a few more movies in the last week or so. I watched Balls Of Fury today which was pretty funny. I saw Liscense to Wed yesterday and that had some really funny parts. I saw Zodiac and it wasn't too bad. Crazy how they still haven't caught the guy yet and the case is still open.

Driving Practice: For the last 3 weeks I've been practicing driving with my father since they have yet to call the driving instructor. They want me to practice a little first. Anyways I've been practicing in a parking lot at my High School and not doing too bad. I should be driving with a driving instructor in a few weeks, but who knows. I'm finally getting used to driving a little bit. I won't have to buy my own car since my cousin wants to give me his. It's a Honda but I'm not sure which kind. Nicer than the one I'm practicing in though. I practice in an old Nissan Sentra. It is a 90 something.

Metroid Prime Progress

I finally beat Metroid Prime today. It took me 14 hours and 10 minutes to beat. One of the greatest games so far on the Wii. Possibly more epic than Zelda: TP.

[spoiler] I finished with 75% items. I had 9 energy bars and all upgrades (Too many to list). I think the best battles were against Omega Ridley and the three fights against Dark Samus (Regular, AU Unit, and AU head). I hated it that you get the yellow curruption bar on top. The first time I fought the AU head I filled it up and died. [/spoiler]

Other News That May Interest Some Of You

I got an e-mail from Best Buy since I'm a reward's club member. They are giving free tickets to all the members to an Electronics Convention at the Jacobb Javitts (sp?) Center in New York City. I beat the first level so far and from what I have seen up to where I am now, I think the game is amazing. The graphics are awesome and the story is great. I have gotten several reward things. I have two friend vouchers. I got 2 upgrades so far and an extra health bar. The missile launcher and the grapple beam. The controls are simple and it takes about a half hour to get used to. Maybe a little more. The default controls are that A shoots (hold to charge)/drop bombs/interact, B jumps (hit twice to space jump/ double jump), down shoots missiles, hold - and point at visors to switch, hold + to go into hypermode, 1 for options and map, and 2 I forget what it does. You can switch the shoot and jump controls. You start out with 2 visors. The normal one and the scan visor (scans enemies and objects). you get certain rewards for things you do. If you defeat a boss you get a gold thing. If you scan certain enemies or people you get red ones. For getting friend vouchers you get green ones. You can spend the reward things (forgot what they are actually called) to buy images and stuff like that. You can give friend vouchers to friends that have MP3. I give the gave a 10/10. It's a must buy and I think you will have alot of fun playing it.

I got Metroid Prime 3 a couple of minutes ago. Surprisingly they had alot of copys left. I'm going to go play it now. I let let you know what I think about it later.

In other news I got a new pair of contacts yesterday. I don't like wearing my glasses too much since I only need them to see a distance. I stopped wearing them a couple months ago so I decided to get them again. For some reason it makes everything blurry when I look at stuff close up with them.

I'll be back on in a couple of hours to let you know what I think about MP3:Corruption.

I just called up my local Target and the guy in electronics said they have plenty of them. I'm waiting for one of my parents to get home to take me. I let you guys know if I get it and how it is.

I just finished watching War (The Jet Li movie) and I have to say it was a great movie. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone who wants to see it so go watch it. I definitely recommend it. One of the better movie in a while.

Yesterday I saw Superbad in the morning. It was funny but had some stupid parts to it. All I can say is the fake ID was funny. All the kid had for the name was McLovin. No first name and they believed that was his real name. I recommend you go see this also (If you are old enough) or you can watch it on the internet.

I also saw Mr. Bean's Holiday which is one of the few non-bootleg movies I've seen recently. It wasn't as funny as I expected but it had some funny parts to it. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you like the series. The TV series was alot funnier.

Most movies that I see are online nowadays because I get way to lazy to go there and because it is free. Maybe once I get my license next year I might go more often.

I started drawing a Garrador (Blind annoying claw guy from RE4) which is one of my least favorite enemies in RE4. I started working on the drawing last night. I based it off the Garrador picture from the RE4 website and drew it on green comp paper (not sure why). I scanned the drawing, darkened the outline, added color to it, and put some shading in. It took close to an hour and a half to edit it in GIMP. I have to fix the eye since I couldn't find a good image of his eye. Here are the links to the images. I'll post it in order of the phases I drew it and edited it in.

Other Stuff

Profile Themes: The next profile theme I make will be a Metroid Prime 3 Corruption one which will be used by the end of this month. After that one I will have a Bruce Lee profile theme 8).

School: I don't start school for 2 more weeks which is good. Hopefully I don't get any terrible teachers this year. Since it's my junior year it is one of the hardest since we take the HSPA and I have to take the SAT. Luckily I didn't take any honors courses so I probably won't get any homework for a week or two. My High School isn't meeting the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act so the math department there might get taken over by the state if it doesn't meet requirements this year.

Driving: I went to practice driving at a parking lot last Saturday. I'm probably going to have practice with an instructor next week or the week after. I need a little more practice first and I need to get used to the gas pedal.

Sports: Since I play soccer for my high school, we have been practicing since early July. We had a tournament a week or two ago and didn't do great (but not bad either). We have 2 scrimmages on Friday and one on Saturday. We are starting to have practice every day and next week we are going to have morning practices every day next week and on at 9:00 AM (Too Early :(). Wre have our first game the day after school starts.

Movies: Well this week I have seen alot of movies. Not at the movies but the kind that are already out on DVD. I saw TMNT, Shooter (It was really good), 300 (For the 5th or 6th time :)), The Hills Have Eyes 2, the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie which was pretty funny also, but had moments that were stupid, and others that I can't remember right now. A couple weeks ago I saw Breach which was a great movie also. I'm probably going to go see Mr. Bean's Holiday this weekend.

Note: This is probably the longest blog I wrote and ever will write. It also probably has the most smilies I ever used :).

Here are 3 Icons I made using GIMP. One half is the regular Samus' helmet and the other half is the Dark/Phazon Suit Samus' Helmet. They were are drawn and shaded by me using a mouse which wasn't very easy. I used photos of both suits to get an idea of how to draw them and they came out good. For now they are 70 pixels by 90 pixels because I forgot to adjust them when I started but I will eventually change it to 80x80. Here they are:

Third one. I made this one look like it is in a comic book.
