I'm fine with them having a young black girl as a new super hero, but why replace the old one that everyone knows and loved for decades? Next they will replace Captain America with a 10 year old Asian Indian mixed race girl with narcolepsy who is trans-gendered and wears a Canadian flag so they can diversify.

Then a new Shaft movie will come out with a white female playing Shaft!

@musalala: If Sony is "for the players" then they would be idiots not to do this. Who cares what they get out of it, it's what we get out of it as the players. Unfortunately, they are stuck too far up their own asses to give a crap about the players.

@imzdemodex: Games have more direct access to the hardware on a console then they do on a PC. Without all the overhead of the OS and API, performance is usually far better on weaker console hardware than their PC equivalent.

It's sad. I read it wasn't a car crash, but an 'accident' involving his Jeep Grand Cherokee which has a recall where putting it in park sometimes actually puts the car into neutral instead. He walked infront/behind it and it rolled into him pinning him between a brick wall and the vehicle. Not like someone crashed into him or a driving accident.

The thing is, even if the world is mostly empty, the gameplay mechanics, and game itself will likely still be pretty damn fun. That's one thing Nintendo has been pretty solid about with their 1st party games. Would love if last minute they announced that the NX version has improved graphics, like vegetation everywhere, more wildlife and such.

They kind of have to release it this year since Scorpio comes out next year. This gives sony a year head start on sales before they lose to the competition with far superior hardware. I give it at least 3 years before Ps5 comes. MS screwed Sony pretty good with this. I bet Sony was expecting marginally better hardware from MS, not a full gen leap.

@derrickd111: Dealing with Xbone leftovers nearly a year later is just something you need to learn to deal with if you only game on a PS4.

@letsgame82: Makes perfect sense. Buy an S if you don't own an xbox one already. If you do, wait for the Scorpio to be released in a year and a bit. Nice of them to let us know in advance, so you don't have to run out to get the latest S model when the more powerful one is around the corner.
