I agree with most of what Bob has said. I would just like to explain more about the LCD's. You want to got with an LCD, around 19" that has a very fast response time. 1ms is the best around, but not very likely to find for a decent price. I have a 2ms response time. As for brands, LG and Samsung seem to be leading the LCD market right now. I personally like LG's brand. Dell has some nice LCD's with USB ports and card readers built in, but tend to be a bit slower on the response time, usually coming in at 8ms.cell_dweller

O so the lower ms time the better for games? like is 5ms better than 8ms for games? i need to be clear. btw how do i get crt to hook up on a ps3 i want to try this 

hey guys im thinking but didnt plan yet since i dont have iver 3000 for a whole new comp.. im trying to build a computer and i need some suggestions.

 1) What ist he best montior for gaming? I know crt is dead but i heard they the best for gaming. i want to try lcd beause its small and i can hook up my ps3 at the same time so im asking. What part do i need to focus on if i want a gaming montior? do i need to get high MS or what? Btw whats the highest ms right now?

2) what is the best CPU as of right now? i want one that will last at least 3-5 years of next gen games for the pc any good ones out there? i still play cs 1.6 and wow i dont really play next gen games but i want suggestions for the best ones til 3-5 years thanks.

3) i know i will get alot of awnsers when i ask this but what is the best case? i personaly want a case with lights since i nver had one and i think its cool :) so any brands there or should i get ones with lots of fans etc give usggestions plz

4) what is the best site for ording pc parts? only one i know i can order is tigerdirect.ca since im in canda but i heard that newegg is good too so anyone can list some sites that are good for pc gaming parts? i want a site that can ship to canada plz.

5) i also need soundcards so should i just get creative ones? i have logitech speakers so i dont need to worry about spears i just need a better soundcard thanks,

6) the most asked question i think is what graphics card should i get? i cant choose between ati or geforce.. so if u guys can tell me whats the best for cs 1.6 and wow that would be nice.. i dont think il get anymore games since i play those.

7) i know this wont matter much but i need a mousepad any mouse pad out there are amaazing and make a difference when you play fps?

8) how much watts and brand of powersupply should i go for?
