I played the demo and had mixed feelings. I don't know if it was just that I needed more time with it but the controls kind of felt clunky and difficult to pull off maneuvers that I wanted to. I also was hoping I could use the grappling hook as a tripwire across roads and the like and could not. I am however very interested in the final game, definitely will rent it, possibly a purchase.

Ditto on seeing it before, sound effects definitely improve the hilarity. Pretty epic parenting fail.

Yeah this is really a simple but inspired idea, I would personally get a lot of use out of this feature, also my LOST Wallpaper collection would be ridiculous...

My favorite character is probably Sazh with Fang as a close second. I also liked Vanille mainly because of her accent. (Aussie/Kiwi are both awesome in my book). I don't know how many other people agree but I really don't care for Snow, definitely my least favorite of the main characters. Also IMO compared with other FF casts I would say average, my favorites being FFIV (primarily Cecil) and FFVI.

Everything you "need" to make levels is included with the game, playing through levels unlocking objects, materials and what not increases what you can use in the level editor. Also if you only download one thing from the Little Big Planet Store, make it the Metal Gear Solid Level Pack. When you play through it you get the paint gun, which really adds to the game a lot.

I second this for great justice. Not a lot of substance but I will never forget games like this and Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Just good old fashioned fun. :) *nostalgia*

Naturally, I'm all for evolution. I love all my PS3 games. Still though its nice to have a game like Megaman 9 surface just as a good arcade diversion. :)

This is exactly what I felt like after just playing Megaman 9. I downloaded it for some 8-bit nostalgia (much I'm sure like most who did). I was just old enough to be playing the 8-bit megaman originally when it was new and can somewhat remember it, along with other classics. When revisiting it, I quickly began swearing up a storm once I moved on from Galaxy Man's stage to Jewel Man. I immediately knew that I've been spoiled by the current generations generally easier gameplay. It always seems to me the most tear-your-hair out frustatingly challenging games are the simplest. I'm actually loving it, it extends the gameplay quite a bit and is a refreshing change (even if I had to put the controller down and take a break for fear of doing something I'd regret :P). Has anyone else found this? Does this immediately conjure the days when there was no wait-to-heal method in video games. :)

Even though I don't understand the whining, just avoid those topics if you don't want to see it. Forums are here so people can share any kind of opinion. It'll blow over soon enough. Thing is, the PC version (can't speak for the Xbox one) is slightly nicer than the PS3 version, which shouldn't be shocking as Bethesda are/were primarily PC developers. If you can't get a PC version/Xbox version get the PS3, it is not inferior enough to warrant bashing at all. I've played both it and the PC version. The point. Get Fallout 3! It's awesome! On whatever machine you have.

Yeah I have to agree with the majority, who cares if Gears 2 is better? I don't need any convincing by Gamespot/Ign/etc. that I made the right choice or wrong choice in purchasing a PS3. I have the money to grab a 360, but that just seems wasteful when the PS3 is better value for my money. :P Mass Effect and Gears of War are the only things about 360 I like that PS3 doesn't have and really they can have them for the PS3 exclusives. :)
