Going to play the whole game with just the cutter on my second or maybe third way through. It's really well balanced.

When you buy something from the PSN you get five downloads of it (thanks DRM...). So you will have to waste another 1 for each of the downloads you own, but you will be able to.

This is the red ring of death equivalent for PS3 folks. Two of my friends who have PS3s had this happen to them and I fear it as well which is why I encourage everybody to get 3rd party warranties. Sony's is only for a year and dust voids it... :O That's ridiculous. Anyway I recommended Future Shop where I got mine, you can get 3 years and it covers basically everything.

I know arguing semantics on the internet is like arguing about theoretical physics at a child's birthday party but really it's not racist to be a bigot towards Muslims, they are not a race or an ethnicity, it is a religion. It's still wrong to insinuate that Muslims are terrorists.

To me, the delay is unwarranted, I'm unfazed in the sense of having to wait, but disheartened at another small loss for free expression. I respect Muslims right to their religion, part of which of course would involve electively not purchasing the game or playing it. Since Sony as a corporation is concerned with sales, its really no surprise to see them accede to this. It's not really so bad, it just kind of rubs me the wrong way as an agnostic who has their values not respected by many religious people they've encountered. Even though I fully support people's right to their own.

Yeah I was really happy with Dead Space's quality, it really was sort of a sleeper hit. I would say Metal Gear Solid 4 is a must buy if you're a fan of the series. It seems to me you may not know the series which will make your appreciation of it, not quite the same. Best idea, go back and play the first three! I would get Dead Space though and maybe go try Metal Gear Solid for the PSX while your at it, should be cheap. :P

Really to me it just seems like pandering. On the one hand you could say "How admirable of Sony for taking that into consideration." Which is how I would respond if I thought this was a genuine act of decency and respect. However, I think its far more likely they are pandering to a very politically correct market. They realize sales could be at stake and want to avoid being labelled as 'insensitive'. The problem is that they should feel 'forced' to do this. It terrrifies me to the core to think that in the 21st century there are 100% taboo forms of music... It's expression and doesn't harm anyone, you can elect yourself not to hear it. True Jews for example won't eat pork, how would people feel if they demanded the entire world must not eat pork. In the end its just a video game and a delay of six days doesn't matter (I like the wait, makes me so much more excited!) I also believe in being decent and kind, however I'll never believe in curtailing expression and free speech in the name of religion. We tried that in the Western World, it was called the Dark Ages for a reason.

I can just imagine this type of thing continuing on release, a Muhammad sackboy per chance? Maybe they'll come to our houses to check our PS3s for any religious characters...

Still though, this game promises to be awesome! Let's remember that most of all!!

Saints Row 2 or Dead Space? Need to know. Open world vet as wellSonyMarksman70

No comparison IMO, Dead Space is way better for your money. Now, to be fair I've only bought Dead Space, just briefly tried out Saint's Row 2, but it really isn't anything like Dead Space. Awesome game.

These are definitely the most challenging enemies for me. Even Brutes seem less frustrating and more fun to battle. These guys are fun to fight but make me swear more than anything else. :P

This game is indeed awesome! It's really kind of a sleeper hit! It's been so fun this far and I was blown away when I found out how many levels there were. I played like all of today and I'm not even halfway done. So many cool events up until this point. First time I died was in the engine room with the big spinning thing.:P This game is definitely best played cranked up and in the dark, its like really being on the Ishimura! I was going to grab Socom today as well but I opted out to hear more about it. Is it really worth it? It'll be my first real jump into Socom but if its as good as you guys say, I'm in!

Dead Space is addictive, played most of today away and I'm on chapter 5. I count this as my first real Trophy earned, although technically Linger In Shadows had the first Trophies I got. :P Marksman was my first and now I have eight.
