Loss of a button and it still looks uncomfortable to play. How much are they selling it for?

Notice how I added a question because the mods whine that we all troll even though not EVERY post needs to be some long winded paragraph. Get the HINT? Ban me for three days over something like that? HUH? punkass **** piece of **** Gamespot boards. What the **** is the point of System Wars if you can't state your opinion

games like Mass Effect, Gears of War and Halo 3 are AAAE but they then went multiplat (except for halo 3, i havent heard any announcement on PC but I'm assuming it's coming)

If Xbox 360's greatest weakness is earning three AAAE scores and suddenly losing it to PC, OH NO what are we going to do? What a terrible problem to have, having three AAAE games go to PC

Yes it is a BIG problem considering even $400 PC's can play those games as good as the 360.And a $500+ PC will give you a vastly superior experience.Better graphics and ability to either play with either mouse/kb or gamepad sounds like a downright winner to me and i would rather wait to play the vastly superior version.

there is no PC you can get that will play Gears of War PC for only $400/$500. (on high settings similar to Xbox 360 that is) Way to downplay the price. We all know, even grandma knows, the PC is notoriously expensive. You just listed the video card price alone

Oh I'm sure you can scrounge around like a rat on the internet and find some "kller newegg.com deals" and show off how you saved $102 after all that headache and building the PC. I like PC, I play PC, but I'm not jealous or sad about what 360 has. It has given me plenty of fun games to play.

couldn't that be a valid criticism about TP's presentation? (about it being too nostalgic and using the same Zelda mechanics?) I played TP and it has the fun moments of past Zeldas but also completely reuses the same tired ones that might need a new reinvention. The same dungeon and early items (bomb, boomerang etc), same sound effects. Now on one hand you can argue that's keeping it consistent and traditional, but not everyone wants that. You can change it slightly and still have the same effect or a better one.

In GTA4 they are taking out the classic "Mission Completed" and "Wasted" wording we saw from all past old GTAs. It reminds me of a subtle effort to bring something new to the series. No it's not a big thing, but it's a detail showing how Rockstar is aware certain things in past GTAs can be repetitive so they change it. now when you complete a mission, you just hear a triumphant bit of music. they want to emphasize the world more rather than "video gamey" things. Couldn't Nintendo have done something similar to TP without reusing old sound effects? The story is also a chore to sit through with long dialogue boxes. Couldnt Nintendo try out something else to make it more interesting? I personally thought the dialogue was hard to bear in OoT already. The Deku King tree bored me to tears he's so slow.

In Zelda TP they use the same sound effects from LTTP. Maybe Jeff's review of 8.8 clearly shows he had fun with it but he is urging Nintendo to reinvent some things. Keep in mind he plays (like all reviewers) 10 times the games you and I do. They play and see it all. So they may want newer things more than those who only wait and buy 3-4 games. To someone owning a Wii who will only buy the major AAA titles like SMG, TP, and SSBB, they are content with the "nostalgia" and these flaws dont really bother them because it's not in their face that much. but to someone who has played so many games, they have a right to expect a little more innovation from a series that is - what - 20 years old?

Jeff's greatest crime is being 0.5 points short of what you want him to rate a game.

Zelda Twilight Princess 8.8. He didnt give it a goofy 4.5 or a 3.7, it's darn close to the 9.0 and 9.5s it already got. You completely disregard reviewers who give outrageously out-of-synce socres.

4/5 for SSBB seems close and reasonable to me. You disregard him if he gave it 1/5 or 2/5 and gave no reasons.

sheep you want too much maybe because the Wii dosnt offer much. I know the Wii has bad game droughts and it makes you bored. you need a 360 and/or PS3 in your life.
