that's a long post. talk about disregarding lol

notice the sheep are the ones who talk the most about reviews? lwe prefer to discuss games and the occassional review talk, but sheep still go on and on about reviews. they want the game to get a sterling 9.5 across the boards.

guess what when Mass Effect didnt get AAA I didnt care. I didnt even post a damn thing about it. And they call us fanboys when they are obsessing over the most trivial things.

a lot of sheep are happy with the 9.5 score so they can wield it in an argument, but I bet deep down they are thinking "it's not what I hyped it up to be."

"prize pig" I like that

The Wii mote is good for mini-games like picking boogers out of nostrils in WarioWare and mimicking the hammer movement like Whack A Mole.

If you want to pretend to balance something and stab something the Wii-mote provides plenty of that. It's the absolute best in immersion like I can't even believe it. I feel like I'm really in the game.

But other than that, Mariio Kart Wii and SSBB prove that Wii-mote sucks with these genres. When you want REAL precision turning where you can feel every subtle turn and dig in the road, you dont want the Wii-mote. It's floaty and loose like a bimbo. For fighting games wihere you need quickness and split-second accuracy, you dont want the Wii-mote. It's laggy and annoying and wasteful in energy.

So basically the Wii-mote is good for balancing blocks onscreen and stabbing and picking noses -- you know, careful slow movements. Immersive.

But the Wii-mote sucks for quick motions, complext motions, and delicate racing motions.

Nobody likes the PS2 version. If it's rave reviews you are hearing from people, they played it on PC.

GTA4 is still first on my list. Mafia 2 I need to wait for reviews. The small dev team is talented but we don't know for sure if Mafia 2 will have the great stuff Mafia 1 had. At least Rockstar have proven their track record and GTA4is a very safe buy imo.

Why aren't the sheep playing SSBB now? Isn't one of your highest rank games occupying every waking day or are you bored with it already? They're posting like crazy here.

wouldnt 4/5 translate to a close 9/10? I like his scoring better. I used to argue with Star Wars nerds who said Phantom Menace deserved 10/10 and Attack of The Clones deserved 10/10. Immediately you see someone who is (a) annoying and (b) terrible at film reviews

Nintendo has the worse "reveals." Maybe they'll introduce another worthless Wii Channel or cheap peripheral.

Lemmings and cows dont care.

The_Deepblue, in real life I wouldnt bother anyone from buying a Wii or any other system, except for nGage. That is just wrong.

But I think the forums are definitely operating under a different set of rules than real life. Because we have nothing physical but only see words and pics, we all have to be a little more amplified to get heard. I could just say "I like Xbox 360" and nobody would care or read the post.

People keep getting drawn back to these forums, but why? For a little "fun" and "entertainment" and (very rarely) "education/information." And the only way to get the first two is to add a little "hyah!" to the posts. There are 20 other forums I dont go to. The 3-4 I return to have something interesting for me to read or -- I feel -- I have something provocative to add. People are free to disagree and I disagree with many. But I won't go out without some tongue wagging thrown in to liven things up.

Plus, I feel some people here have been allowed to roam the countryside with so much hot arrogance it almost bothers me to see such unchecked muscle-flexing in my face. Just as it's occasionally fun to poke fun at celebrities and their empty glamour, it's just fun to poke fun at empty egos -- yes even video game egos. I'm sure some think I have this ego (let them think it, I dont care), but it's fun to say it back to some of them! ;)

The_DeepBlue, that's a good post.

It's funny I see the same sheep regulars with nothing to say and yet you still managed to make a good point that they combined together didnt even make. You are an outside of the box thinker, I like that.

The rest of you, between the okeydokey's three-stooges pic posting and Blackbond's masked expletives (am I supposed to be shivering from suppressed adolescent anger?) The_Deepblue is the one who actually has a thought contained in the post. He sees behavior. You learn from him between your SSBB breaks.

The_Deepblue, there is one unfortunate thing. If I made 10 threads or 0 threads, the sheep would've gone crazy anyways. I lurked for one week and saw it get crazy here anyways. I saw it get crazy over Twilight Princess 8.8 score. I remember it getting absolutely murderous over Mario Kart's 7.9 IGN score. You can't deal with these people on a balanced level if they start off mentally off-kilter with tendencies toward exaggeration. So with every action I must supply an equal and opposite one in return or they'll just multiply and multiply.

RPGamer is a poster that is polite. Unfortuantely that's not in my DNA. And neither is it in many others here who are way more undecorous in their language.

SMG looks good in spots. I've played it. It'd be nice to see something else posted for once though. If I were to buy a Wii, i dont want to rally behind one game forever as an example of visuals. I want to be surrounded by more games.
