Ok, I know I said that last post would be my last one, but there's been a slight change of plans. Turns out I still have my computer until tomorrow.

That being said, let's get to my favorite album:

Is This My World? By Jerry's Kids

Pure Boston hardcore at it's finest. There's only one real slow song in this album, and even that one is better than most hardcore songs. The drumming is fast and chaotic, fitting in perfectly with the screamed vocals, and the lyrics are, as with most punk bands, full of social and political criticism. So yeah, it sounds like your average hardcore record, but trust me, it's not.

Note: I didn't choose Double Nickels on the Dime because I don't consider the Minutemen a straight up hardcore band.
