I much prefer Devil May Cry for 2 main reasons.

- I love the style system

- I don't like the witch time mechanic all that much as it takes away from the frenetic pace. I think the parry mechanics of Metal Gear Rising serve a similar function without slowing the pace of the fights. I love MGR

If you didn't own a WiiU before, then the Switch is extra valuable.

-Breath of the Wild is easily one of the most impressive games ever created. It blows the hinges off the open world genre

-Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is considered to be perhaps the greatest platformer ever created. I'd have to agree. It nails everything.

-switch has access to a lot of great indie games. The bonus with switch is that you have the ability to take them with you wherever you go instead of being locked to your home tv.

Those would be 3 of the biggest draws imo.

Breath of the Wild without a doubt. That game still blows my mind.

Definitely Pokemon Shield. It's just so bare bones and uninspired.

It's the weakest entry in the main line series.

Focus on the open ended aspects I say.

The way Breath of the Wild tackled the open world was nothing short of genius. That sense of wonder and excitement is something I hadn't felt in a video game since I was young and full of imagination. If they can take what they did with the first game and build upon it, I may be lost in there forever.

I only played two switch games that released this year

Pokemon Shield has to be the most disappointing main line Pokemon game ever made

Luigi's Masion 3 is just a blast to play. I love it.

I can't deny that God of War is a fantastic game. If the boss fights were better, it would have been pretty much perfect.

Personally, it was Breath of the Wild, Bloodborne and Celeste that impressed me the most this gen.

The second v skill thing is absolutely huge. I'm very excited.

PS4 because of SFV. That's pretty much the only game I play until the next exciting game comes out for Nintendo's console.

That's kind of been my gaming formula for the last 3 years.
