Happy Veteran's Day everyone! Hope everyone had a great time! The Veteran's Day parade was awesome! To begin with,we were divded into Unarmed and Armed drill teams! I was with Unarmed of course since I signed up for it to begin with! That means I didn't march with a rifle! Color Guard marched as well.:D Also the majorettes,flag girls,and the band were there as well! Many other schools were there as well! The parade was HUGE! After the parade,we went to McDonalds! I ate 4 McDoubles! :shock:

Hey guys! I got some great news! Colonel Bobo said that when we march at the parade tommorrow, we'll be marching at Sling Arms! That means that the rifle will slung over our shoulders using the sling! :D I guess I'll be going to the parade after all! Also we gotta bring $10 with us when Colonel Bobo takes us out to eat after the parade! Wish me luck guys!

Hiya guys! :) Just checking on my GS family! What's up homies?!! :cool: I wanted to talk about something that means a lot to me: my independence! I hate tradition and avoid it at all costs. I think it's highly overrated. Religion wise, I am Christian but I don't follow the Bible like it's my lifeline. For example, the Bible says that gays and bis are an abomination but I don't think so. I believe that they are people just like us and it's their choice. It's between them and God. Besides the Bible also says that you must love your neighbor as you would yourself. Basically I don't let my religion control how I live my life or how I feel about others. I live how I want to live. If no one likes it,then they can kiss my a**! Relationship wise, I think love is highly overrated as well. Who needs it? Besides there are better things to focus on. I don't wanna be a housewife or a stay-at-home mom. I also will NOT depend on a man for anything. I'd rather make my own money. I guess I'm a bit of a feminist. :P I also will NOT change myself or let a man control me. No way jose! I'm not giving up my dreams,my education,nor my job for a man either! Hope you guys liked my silly old rant!

I have sad news everyone! :( My U.S. History teacher lost her momma! :cry: If I lost my mom,I would go insane! Also I'm still conflicting on whether to go to the Veteran's Day parade or not. :( I don't wanna let the team down but I also can't carry that heavy rifle for 5-7 miles! What should I do?!!

Hello everyone! Today is bittersweet for me. :( To begin with, today marks the 4 year anniversary of my dad's death. :cry: Also today is my half-sister's 10th birthday. :D We also have to wear our ROTC uniforms every Wednesday starting today. The Veteran's Day parade is next week! We have to march for over 7 miles! :shock: Hopefully I don't have to carry a rifle while doing so. Wish me luck guys!

Man today is AWESOME!! The Army is at my high school and they bought a weapons simulator and an Xbox 360 Kinect! Also you get prizes for doing a certain amount of push-ups! :D Man I was kicking a** on that Xbox Kinect! We were playing Kinect Sports (boxing)! I was kicking a** and taking names! Although I did lose a few times... :lol: Man my arms hurt like hell! OUCH!!
