To all the 360 fanboys who think that saying "we got better games and more on the way" is a way of making the 360 look better is sadly mistakened. please take a look at the exclusives for 360 being released for this holiday season. oh wow what is that? only one? yeah, GoW 2. That's gonna be your biggest f'n flop of this generation.

Even when you babies say "we're taking all your exclusives away" the only thing that comes to mind is fine. have our sloppy seconds. The exclusives we lost weren't great games anyway (yes i'm including FF13, Versus will be so much better!!!)

If Too Human is any indication of the exclusives you guys will have, I say keep them, we don't need the garbage.

Because Microsoft cares for its consumers. They get the games that was exclusive to the other console before and brings it home to the Xbox 360. They get exclusive content for games. They get games that you use to love back in the day and put them on XBLA and have free trials for them. They just love making the gamers happy.

We have debates here about power, online, price, games, etc. Let's add wisdom into the mix. I believe the following 6 unwise philosophies apply to the Microsoft more than Sony.

1) Leap before you look.

The 360 leapt into this generation first and fast, but it didn't look into the future. It used cheap hardware and had to deal with RROD, lack of Blu-ray features, as well as the lack of standard Wi-Fi and Blu-ray disk. As a result, the 360 is looking more and more outdated relative to the PS3.

2) Shoot, but don't fight.

The 360's controller is fine for shooters, but weak for fighters. Read PS3 vs. 360 reviews on Soul Caliber 4, and you will see reviewers saying the 360's controller isn't well designed for fighting games.

3) Shake, but don't move.

Xbox 360's controller can rumble, but it lacks motion sensitivity. Xbox 360 is the only console this generation without any motion-sensing capability.

4) Spend, don't save.

First you pay money to buy the console. Later, you pay fees to play online. By the end of this generation, Xbox 360 is the most expensive console to own, if you factor in LIVE fees.

5) Friends are better than family

Xbox 360 has to rely on 3rd parties (friends) to compete because Microsoft didn't have the foresight to invest heavily on 1st & 2nd parties (family). As such, expect more and better exclusives on the PS3.

6) The past shall set you free

The 360's present ( 2008 ) state in terms of exclusives and multiplats is less favorable to the PS3. With MGS4, GT5P, MLB: The Show, Siren: Blood Curse, Little Big Plannet, Resistance 2, Mortorstorm 2, etc., the PS3 has better exclusives this year. Multiplats, too, are better on the PS3 this year: Burnout Paradise,GTA4, DMC4, Soul Caliber 4, all look or play better on the PS3. The PS3 also has improved versions of Bioshock and Eternal Sonata. The future (2009 and beyond) also favor the PS3 as Sony invested heavily on 1st and 2nd party and developers have now learned to tame the PS3's power. Hence, hence when talking about power, games, install base, the 360 finds itself seeking glories in the past. Unfortunately, Xbox 360, the past can't set you free.

My point? Sony is wiser than the Microsoft. My opinion? I think Microsoft has made too many unwise decisions that has not hurt the Xbox division this generation but also the next one as well.
