Your specs sound similar to my Dell laptop.  I can run it with everything set to low (you can run it on medium settings except for shadows, but I don't recommend you do this).  I probably get, at most, 30 fps in a completely unpopulated area.

I regret not shipping my gaming PC to school with me.

I recently agreed to participate in a survey that Gamespot is currently conducting. However, while I was completing it one of the pages 404'd, so I hit the "back" button on my mouse. The webpage required me to resubmit information, but there was no "refresh" button on the window that Gamespot used for the survey. I would like to complete the survey, but I do not know how to access it again. Is there any way this can be rectified? I still want the chance to be entered to win the prize Gamespot is using as an incentive.

Apologies in advance if this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to post this.

Obama all the way, not because I like him, but because I consider McCain to be one of the worst career senators in recent memory. I will never forgive him for sponsoring that horrible amnesty bill and then voting against both the GI bill and a ban on torture (despite being a torture victime himself. For shame, McCain).

Also, Supreme Court Justices are at stake, and there's a decent chance that McCain will die in office which means we get Palin as president *shudders*. McCain isn't Bush, but Palin certainly is, except she'll start a war every 28 days rather than once every term.

McCain might as well endorse this kind of bigotry. He's already sold his soul multiple times in order to get the Republican endorsement, especially after his amnesty bill died two summers ago. And people say Obama is an empty suit >_>

Some years back I bought the Creative Inspire P7800 7.1 speaker system, and it has worked fine. I recently shipped it across country so I could use it as my surround sound setup for my dorm room. I bought a bunch of different cables and splitters in order to make it work on my TV. It worked fine for about a week until it just died out of no where. No sound, no bass, no nothing. Then it comes back alive for a few days, but then it died on me again about 8 hours ago.

I tried plugging my MP3 into its aux, but sound still didn't come out of any of the speakers nor the sub. I tried plugging it into my roomie's PC (which has a Creative sound card), but still nothing.

I'm starting to think my speaker system is dead or dying. Does anyone else think I should start shopping around for new surround sound?

[QUOTE="quiglythegreat"][QUOTE="Power_47"][QUOTE="WtFDragon"]

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Practical reality that it is immoral? You're going to have define this ad naseum, because from a purely observationist point of view, you have to take into consideration civil order.Power_47

Even if rape could somehow be beneficial to civil order, that wouldn't make forcing yourself sexually on another person morally right.

Yet when beneficial to civil order, blowing a man in half with a cannon is? Although the idea of rape being moral is hard to swallow and part of an very unlikley senerio it wouldnt be entirely different then moraly killing in war, this is of course assuming that lust isnt the motive.

murder is similarly never excusable. most people cannot recover from murdering another.

Thats only if they personally believe that murder is evil, do you think that the terrorists who kill in the name of their religion feel remorse?

Terrorists don't consider their actions the same as murder, so it's a moot point.

Also, the burden of proof rests squarely on the believer (the person making the claim).
