So i figured i would try and play a couple of games for PC with my Xbox controller.

I bought it for my xbox 360, its a wireless controller, i hooked up the controller to my PC via the charge cable. Has anyone gotten this to work? I haven't had any luck, just wondering if anyone else has.

mine has less room then that(laying horrizontally, 4" on either side and 2" on the top, back and front open). Most of the heat related issues, i thought, were the earlier models. As long as there is room for air flow, you should be fine. As long as there is room for the vents, it should be fine.

I was playing the Orange Box a while ago and for some reason Xbox Live decided it didn't want to work anymore so i got a message saying that i was disconnected.  I continued to play like nothing was happening cuz i was playing single player.  I got some achievements and went on my merry way.

 The next day i connect to live and i notice that my gamerscore is lower and the achievements aren't there.  so my question...

 Do you need to be connected Xbox Live when you get your achievemnts for them to count?

My Right shoulder button doesn't work any longer. this might be due to massive amounts of Mario Kart.... but still, it shouldn't be broken.

Does anyone know how to take it apart or someplace i can bring it or send it out to get it fixed... i relaly dont' wanna spend another $130 on a new one
