If you watched The Daily Show at all, you'd know perfectly well that he realizes completely that he's a comedian, and that his show isn't a real news program. It's the fact that he's not a real journalist (nor is he meant to be) that means that he can call other people out on journalistic integrity.
Yes but most people get there information not from news networks but from comedians like him.
