while PSN has dedicated servers,

1. they lack unified servers, so Virtua Tennis 3 is NOT online for the ps3

2. the dedicated servers will eventually shutdown, so you can NOT play Resistance:FOM online in about 2 years.

Who is gonna wanna play Resistence in 2 years anyway? There is most likely gonna be RFOM2 and other shooting games. Unlike Xbox, Playstation doesnt have just one shooting game that everyone likes, well now its two because of Gears.

For my 360 I own GeOW, R6V, GRAW 1+2. Every single one of these games lag online. GeOW is the worst offender and bullet lag makes that game almost unplayable online. For my PS3 I own Resistance, Motorstorm, and I have recently been playing the Warhawk beta. Resistance and Motorstorm never lag. Honestly I haven't lagged once in either of these games even when I've played 40 people in Resistance. Warhawk used to crash like crazy and it would be rare that I got to play it for more than an hour, however the game also did not lag on me once. Online gameplay was smooth as silk when it ran.

What annoys me is that I pay for Live yet I have to use some crappy P2P online service. I know XBL has much better features than PSN, but I don't care about the ability to download HD movies, I don't care about instant messaging, what I care about is how my games perform online and in this area PSN has XBL beat down badly. Why don't XBL games run on dedicated servers? I'd much rather play GeOW online than Resistance but when it runs that badly I refuse to. MS needs to sort it out. Does anybody else that OWNS BOTH CONSOLES have anything to say about this. Am I the only one that experiences this lag on Live?

Does anybody know why I might not be able to join my friends RSV online games and why he can't join my games? We can play with other people just fine, but not each other. They are all player matchs so I can't think of any reason why we can play togather. It just says connection to host lost or game not found when we try to join the others game.

I had that same problem, we kept trying for like 2 weeks and it never worked. Even when we joined someone else's room, we couldnt talk to eachother.

He should be in the game, but wont. They're not going to promote someone who killed his family then commited suicide. That would be bad rep for the game because media would say that they are condoning his actions. US championship? Equivalent to WWE championship. Cruiserweight? Hasnt been good since WCW, the only good cruiserweight they have they tried making world champion.

When I said they had 3 belts, i didnt really mean it was only 3 belts, but thats all they promote.

Blue Dragon looks like big flop, Bioshock doesn't really interest me but im still gonna play both to try them out. Also I could careless about MP. I'll have Crysis for that.

Either that or when Sony can gain alot of support for its online community and MS makes XBL free or atleast makes the microtransactions free. Someone posted something in system wars about some MS dude "explaining" why we have to pay. Yet he failed to realize the things he mentioned PSN has, and its free and i'm not paying $50 to play online. Atleast I dont gotta worry about 12 year olds trying to act tough anymore.

How is Blue Dragon flop?

It's selling so well (in terms of a Xbox 360 game) in Japan and is actually the reason why they sold quite a number of consoles with the game itself. They got more pre-orders than 360 that were purchased on Launch Day in Japan so you know how high Japanese are on the developers of Final Fantasy.

It already recieved very good reviews so I don't get why you still think it's a flop. It's pretty much proven if you ask me, we're just waiting for this game to come across the Pacific.

Really? Can you link that because my friends told me it flopped over in Japan. But to me it doesnt seem like its actually gonna be that good, like I said i'm still gonna play it but I still think its gonna flop over here.

Im getting tired of answering this question ( no offense toward you) but there are alot of good non FPS games coming out. I only want a PS3 for the blu ray player cause its so cheap comparied to the standard one and with companies like blockbuster jumping on board its hard not to go that direction for HD movies.

Yeah I understand, I would get pretty annoyed too but Blu-Ray doesnt matter to me, cause I barely watch movies anyone. I cant sit down for2 hours, maybean hour and a half of boredom before it actually gets into the good stuff.
