Which society? Obviously not modern Western society, as most First World countries allow women to serve in the military.

Also, when questioning your statement about morality, I said "what," not "whom." Based on your answer, can I assume that you believe morality is determined by the predominant view of a given society at a given time?

I thought it was rather entertaining. Additionally, I was trying to see if she was serious or not. I wasn't sure if she was the equivilalent of a "fakeboy" on SW since her statements and views made little sense and were not substantially backed up, almost as if inviting criticism.

I don't get why a feminist would be going around saying you shouldn't hit girls. That's a very traditional (and sexist) idea. In the old days, women were not trained to arms. We developed codes of honor about not attacking the helpless and so forth, which would include women. There's no reason for that anymore. Women can go to gyms, they can take martial arts, they can buy weapons, and they can join the military. I'd only expect an exceedingly conservative person say you shouldn't hit girls.
