Also I want to mention that indeed the only game that you really want to play is the 2nd Runner as the first game isnt really that great (I disliked it even back in the days when it was released on the PS2). Surprisingly the second runner is miles ahead in terms of quality and is a well rounded game, for people who never played it on the PS2 this is the chance to play it in HD even thou I would still recommend the special edition of the second runner on the original playstation 2.

This is a love it or hate it game, if you are into fast paced mech action or even a fan of Lost Planet 1-2 you will most likely love this but its kinda a bummer they messed up the frame rate, I played the second runner special edition which run at 50 FPS because of its PAL release and it felt very fast.

@Spartan-1775 LoS was pretty solid in my books it had great score, awesome script and dialogue by Patrck Stewart and Robert Carlyle and an epic story, the only thing that bothered me was the gameplay and dumb quick tie events, other thgan that it was okay for a castlevania game, much better than curse of darkness or lamment of innocence

@lulababy so true AlucarD is my fav character from any Castlevania game, I also like Soma Crus or Shanoah but damn AlucarD is the best he deffinetley needs to come back and also Ayami Kojima dark gothic artwork, her style is so unique and beautiful its and important part of the castlevania games, also loved her artwork from the PS2 curse of darkness, heel I actually only like curse of darkness because of the kickass soundtrack and her artwork of course :D

@federomeo18 the cheesy dialogue in that game was a delight much in the veins of the original Resident EVil "you almost became a Jill sandwich" lmao or "I hope this is not Chris's blood" never gets old

I am soo glad they kept it semi-2D as a platform and sidescrolling game and didnt went full 3D third person style. I think there are certain games like Castlevania, Metroid, Mega Man and Bionic Commando which should always stay 2D sidescrolling, thats their whole charm and by the way the last Castlevania game Order of Ecclessia was fantastic in 2D !!!

This is an awesome game, unlike any other mech-FPS the combat in this one actually feels very fluid and the controls are sharp, I also like the idea of holding C to autorepair.
