@emperiox @Printul_Noptii Halo 1 CE is still very solid on the PC I checked on it last week and found populated servers, also it was modded to look even better than Anniversary, check out Halo CE CMTmod on youtube. Its a very solid shooter franchise and MS kept it Xbox excluisve for a long time to boost their sales same happened to Gears of War 2-3, Halo 1-2 and Gears 1 were all released for the PC as well even thou they pulled a dickmove with the Vista exclusive on Halo 2. Still I know a lot of die hard FPS fans who would love to see it on the PC.
This is truly an awful statement second to the bs one of EAs spokesman made about gamers embracing and welcoming microtransaction, GTFO ! I dont care if the Xone is even 1000 x more powerful then every PC on earth and north korea can launch nukes with it but what makes me angry is that they are actually serious about it and that the mindless sheep can't see through the bs. oh so you like TV and NHL well we will incorporate that, oh so you like achievements dont worry you will get them from your old account but guess the f what.... your old games wont carry over and good luck bringing some other friends with different xbox accounts to your house because FU you dont play on my account, thats what people hate, watch Angry Joes rant, he is right this is some stupid BS right there guys.
@hippiesanta actually PC gamers arent that angry its actually more amusing to see what stupid decisions EA and MS made and damn I had hopes for MS but right now they kinda lost the ball compared to the PS4. PC gamers dont care really !
@krystyla @Printul_Noptii it doesnt matter since they are all in the same boat now, why do you think they dropped online passes, to cash in on the sheep that will get the Xone for exclusives. Also Crytek could easily modify the crytek 3 engine to run Crysis 3 on the Wii U but guess what since nintendo didnt allow EA to run Origin on their WiiU, EA said FU Nintendo and locked away some games people who want to play on the WiiU and dont give me that crap that the WiiU is too weak since Dice also announced they will be porting games to smartphones using their engine.
lol lets see wow you can watch TV with the Xone (no one wants to watch TV while playing a game or even watch it in general, well at least I don't) okay whats next ? wow you can use skype xDDD come one today the smartphones are so advanced that even PC dudes dont even use skype on their PCs that often. And the NHL, I dont give a damn here in the Eu about that so all in one the Xone is nothing more than a mini PC for enterteaining purpose only, GTFO MS
@damiger @Epyongndm @Bellum_Sacrum dont worry most of the games which will come the the next gen consoles will also hit the PC and I bet some of them will even surpass the next gen consoles.
I see a lot of people and especially oldschool RE fans complaining about "going back to the roots". Guys let's be honest RE cannot go back to the roots because 1. Shinji Mikami jumped the boat a long time ago and 2. Fixed camera angles and slow pace were hardware limitation back then which arent the issue today anymore.
So in essence the only way RE can redeem itself is by creating a solid third person shooter with good atmosphere and good writing and remove the co-op nonsense. That is the reason why recent FPS titles like BioShock Infinite or Metro Last Light felt so fresh and got overall good reception !
They didnt change the FPS formula but instead they created an immersive experience by combining atmosphere, a solid written story and good gameplay mechanics to create an awesome game and thats the problem with the newer REs they may nail the gameplay but they kinda lack soul like good atmosphere and good story.
