100th signature. I AM A CENTURION!

I have often joked that if it were up to EA we would have to pay for our bullets in their games. It truly is sad that my joke has become a reality.

Runescape is pretty much a game build specifically for MMO player who actually enjoy grinding. thats pretty much all the game is. Leveling up wood chopping, mining, and smelting (plus various other skills) thats really all there is to it. At least thats all it was during my time playing.

a new xbox user is never gonna catch up to the players with 200k GS so he might as well get a PS3

and no, Im not the person who said this

1nverted

I've had my Xbox since September last year, I own about 13 games for it and my gamerscore is only 2.1k. Why? Because I couldn't care less about my acheivement score. Honestly, if people are concerned about others judging them on their score then they are playing video games for the wrong reason.

The 360 is spawing a culture of extremely hostile gamers with MS's stupid point system.

Prove me wrong.

I'm not one to leap blindly to the 360's defense, but... Prove yourself right.

I've never heard anyone on Xbox live get into a fight over, or talk down to someone because of their gamerscore. And I've never heard from anyone else about any such incident.

On the flip side I agree that people playing 360 for the sake of their gamerscore need to re-evaluate their priorities. I know I did. I used to be a bit of an achievement whore.

Don't you understand? Xbox 360 is the recruiting tool of the US Army. Unlike other, better games such as America's Army. That's an anti-army game which shows how buggy and stupid the American Army is.

If someone is stupid enough to get recruited into the armed forces by a video game, then they are too stupid not to get shot at. And they might as well get shot at somewhere over seas where they won't make a mess on my carpet.

I really hope RE5 makes it's way to the Wii. The Wiimote controls made RE4 a thousand times better IMO.

Lemmings seem to be forgetting the Halo 3 beta they had to pay $60.00 for. GT5 has the content of a full game yet is only $40.00.Taalon

I'd like to start by saying that though I'm not a fan of racing games. I think the "GT5 Is A Costly Demo" argument is quite ridiculous. That being said...

Are you referring to Crackdown? I don't doubt that some bottom feeders bought Crackdown purely for the Halo 3 Beta invite, but this isn't a very sound argument. First, there were spots in the Beta for people other than the Crackdown consumers. Second, people who bought Crackdown got to play the Beta as well as the full game(Crackdown) they purchased to get the invite. They got a demo and a full game. Some Crackdown consumers may have not have played Crackdown at all, completely invalidating my previous point. If these people are tossing out that Demo nonsense then yes... they are hypocrites of the highest order.

The fox has an eye patch and a cutlass. Is he a pirate of some sort. If so, I approve.

I went to a baseball game once in Tampa Bay. It was the Yankees at...... whatever the hell Tampa Bay's team is.... Sting Rays or something. I watched Derek Jeter hit what must have been, no joke, 30 foul balls in a row.

This combined with several attempt to watch televised baseball have led me to realize that I cannot stand the sport. No amount of added video or game can mend this. I'm gonna stick with LBP, MGS4 and Heavy Rain thank you very much.

Blackbond

Don't lie the pitch counts does not reflect that on ESPN's webpages.

I tell you no lie. I sat there for a good 15 minutes watching Jeter pelt the fans with fouls. May not have been 30 on the nose, but it was a good few.
