Explanation for what? Trying to maximize their profits? Unless Capcom signed some secret contract agreeing to coddle Sony I don't think they have to justify anything.

Because I don't want a casual age of gaming.Vandalvideo

What system do you want to fail Vandal? I've always seen you as the neutral observer, dispersing ignorant "misconceptions"

Honestly, 100% serious, no joking my theory is that when people "align" themselves with a console/company, they want the other to fail because they think that their console/company winning would be like a personal victory for them. I don't apply this theory for everyone, but I think it explains a fraction of the population what want companies to fail. A small fraction.

My other theory is that it's out of pettiness. Subject A like PS, Subject B likes X-Box. B tells A that PS sucks and he's stupid for liking it. This breeds contempt. When bad news about X-box emerges A retaliates with "Ha! Your crappy console is failing!" This situation repeats, alternates and so on. eventually people are hating a brand and hoping it will fail for reasons they can't even remembers. Hate for the sake of Hate. Again, this doesn't apply to everyone... hell it might not apply to anyone. But It's how I explain all the harsh vibes to myself.

It would make me happy. I'm not a big MGS buff, but that news would be the equivalent to a knife in the eye for some people on this forum, and that would be bliss for me.

Bye the way, nice setup! Top drawer most definitly.

From the comparison between what I've seen on my friends PS3 and my 360, the two console are pretty much equally powerful. As for the disk space issue... how much space can the game really take up? MGS cut scenes have always been in engine haven't they? I can't imagine the whole shebang overfilling a DVD 9. Mass Effect fit on DVD-9 and that seems like that would take way more space.

*A distant echo from inside the woodwork* "Crawling is for chumps! damage controooooooool!"

But not really.

Who cares about Sony's share price? I play games, not the stock market.
