Ok here we go everyone from the top down. I've had my 360 since launch and my 20Gb hard drive isn't even half full yet. My disc drive has never scratched any of my disks, but I will admit, it is noisy. My 360 has never over heated, people who's 360 do over heat are idiots who stick them in little crampt spaced barly large enough to fit the system into. Flimsy USB cover!? I'm playing games in my bedroom, not while I'm bungie jumping off of a helicopter into a lions mouth. If break your USB cover you're probably a rhino or radioactive guerilla or something. HDMI a negative yes. Dpad is fine by me, grow up. the controller using AA's is lame yes. I've had the same mic since launch and it still functions perfectly. Don't fault the mic cause you do something stupid, like sit on it, and break it. I don't even know what Wi-Fi is, but I've managed to survive without it for the 18 years I've been on this planet so I guess I can make due without it.
Now for the Live complaints.
Not allowing friend invites to ranked games is to prevent large groups of friends from falsely boosting their ranks, but if you have half a brain you can figure out how to bypass that block for most games. I can get into any game quickly any given day. Your point about Gears is not only false, but a repeat of the previous point. An F for originality. I game jump into a game of Gears and be playing within 5 minutes usually. Thats aside, thats more of an issue with peopll not wanting to join that game, not a problem with the LIVE service. A gam eof Rainbow six lagging is on account of someone in the game, host most likely, having a horrid connection. I personally almost never get lag on Vegas. Whiney 12 years-olds, yeah that is a problem, but I'm sure there are whiny 12 years-olds playing other consoles too.
