My only complaint really is that the game could stand to be a wee bit shorter. Some times I find myself stuck in the monotonous walk for a bit, encounter enemies, walk, fight, walk, fight cycle. This is in pretty much every FPS so I'm not really complaining about that, but sometimes it feels like I've been in the loop for longer than I should be. But then the games throws me a bone and I get to do something new like throw stuff with the gravity gun, or command my ant-lion army, or go cruising in the buggy and in doing this the game redeems itself somewhat. Half-Life 2 is a good game, but not super unparalleled Godly good as some would have you believe.

With that selection specifically..... I'd take the PS3. Killzone 2, MGS4, and FF13 all look like they are going to be great. I'm not a fan of racing games so GT5 isn't a factor. While I love Halo 3 and Mass Effect has great promise it just comes down to 2 game being one less game than 3 games. Again the same with the Wii. Brawl and SMG look awesome, but thats only 2. And oddly enough...... I'm not to interested in Crysis. It looks good, but I'm just not feeling it.

I gotta say though, the PS3 has a bit of an unfair advantage on that poll where allthe games are all highly anticipated up-and-comings, while the other consoles game choice consist of a few games I've already played, and played a lot.

I liked the ending and I havn't experienced any Frame Rate issues, but everything else is pretty dead on. Hopefully Bungie corrects some of it.

Hard to prefer one over whenI havn't played either. However, since I own a Wii, but not a PS3 I'll probably stick with SMG.

I stongly agree with you, especially about the Halo 3 graphics topic. Swapping disks didn't keep Final Fantasy 7 and Legend of Dragoon from being two of my all time favourite games.

I'm looking out my door now to see my roommate playing our newly purchased copy of MP3, and I can say without a doubt that those screenshots you chose are not representative of the games visuals. What great timing for this thread. :)

I don't give two S***s about GS scores. However if the game is glitchy and broke, or just bad in my opinion, then I will lose my mind and go catatonic.

The Gamecube, which i had affectionately dubbed "Gaycube" (Clever...... I know) made me completely abandon Nintendo for a generation.
