PC= More complex gaming experience and has the largest e-sport support (aka online).

Wii= Because Nintendo are the kings of gaming and they have a specific purpose (e.g. they know they make childish games or games for pure fun).

As far as I can tell the other current consoles are dumbed down versions of the PC. All games on the other platforms are mostly imitations of games that were originally made on the PC or on a Nintendo system/made by Nintendo (e.g. FPS, platformers, RPGs) with a few exceptions of course.

Sure, the other systems have their advantages, but as far as I can tell everything you CAN get in terms of gaming experiences can be obtained if you have ONE PC and ONE Wii. The best RPG experience is had on Wii through Zelda OOT (and all the other **** of RPG Nintendo has) as well as the many RPGs that are on the PC mostly including MMORPGs, the best FPS experience is on the PC through HL/HL2 and their online mods, thief 2 as one of the best stealth games (the original MGS cannot be played on the current PS3 model), the best platformer (Mario), and the list goes on. Of course fighting games are best on box and ps3 because of their controls, but other then that it is hard to give a good reason to buy a PS3 or box if you already have a PC (considering most games come out on PC and PS3/box, pretty much all other PS3/xbox only games are only imitations of what has already been on PC/Nintendo systems anyway).

Anyway, that's just me.

[QUOTE="one_on_one"]Wii games are on DVDs and it can't play DVD movies. A PS3 without blu ray movie playback is possible and might have a very good starting price, but I doubt Sony would do that though.MoonMarvel
No they are not. Wii games are on an Optical Disc not a DVD.

If some can change the wii software around without affecting the hardware at all to play DVDs with a wii, it would have been easy for Nintendo to do the same and allow DVDs on the Wii.

Nintendo did not allow DVDs on purpose, they know they are a games company and have always stuck to that bottomline. Wii games themselves are on optical disc, yes, but the wii as a system can easily play DVDs if Nintendo wanted it to.

its only gonna end up on 360 and ps3, at least those are the only 2 consoles announced so far, sf3 and sf2 anniversary last gen only came out on xbox and ps2! same with marvel vs capcom 2!

its like art! sf4 and re5 are games capcom isnt about to water down to meet the wii's standards, they want you to play the games to their fullest the way they are supposed to be played!

If your own defination of "watering down" has to do with graphics or processor power, then you really don't know what games, and Street Fighter is about. As far as I can see the only watering down is being done by Sony and Microsoft, focusing mostly on graphics. Look at Xbox360, their games are dumbing down FPS games and games in general across the board.
