I thought they recently announced that you get the new character/quest and armor thing just for buying the game new, even the regular edition. I'm going to skip the CE if all it is are those 3 items and the bonus stuff I would probably just toss in the trash.

The point value doesn't really mean anything, but I like to try to get most of the single player achievements for games that I like. Just gives me something extra to do as long as they aren't frustrating. Like for The Orange Box, I'm not going to do the Science achievements.

I won't support it by buying any. I never use my avatar for anything anyways.

The only part I can imagine someone thinking is scary would be Ravenholm.

I played WoW for about a year with a friend. It can be fun socially speaking, but the whole game mechanic of a MMO is based on an addictive ego trip. I wouldn't say I hate them, but I would never recommend one to someone and I can't imagine that I will ever play one again.
