Hi, Gamespot community! I've been scavenging this site for YEARS, and first decide to join today because I got annoyed by having to enter my date of birth when wanting to watch some 'oh-so-violent' reviews. ANYWAY! Happy to be here. Of all the sites that review games, GS is my first place to look..... so why not be part of it somehow? Anyway, I'm a 31 year old dude from Holland, living in Denmark with my 4 year old son (no girlfriend / wife, thank god) I have a decent (for now) Gaming PC that can handle Crysis 2 with extreme graphics on 1920x1080, a PS3 250GB, a Xbox360 glossy-slimy Slim, a Wii (catching dust in a closet), and a PSVita (what was I thinking...). So, anyway, my primary thought with this blog is to let you people know my gaming experiences, most probably mixed with some stories of my life as an IT supporter in the currently dark and depressing land of the vikings. So... here goes! Yesterday I finally finished Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Lights out, surround sound you get my drift. I started out this game like a year ago, got pretty far and maybe got drunk a few times to many in the meantime to later remember where the hell I left off. So, a couple of days ago I decided to really give it a go and get it over with. Problem is that the scare factor really is limited having played oh-so many games in the past and present kind of make games predictable in a sense. Or maybe I should just not have used the tinderbox and lamp-oil cheat, just to finish the game.. >_> Anyway! Its done! Ill pay more attention to the sequel that hopefully will be landing later this year. Now, Im broke (even though I just got paid) and I REALLY want the new Tomb Raider PS3, Xbox360 I dont care. Or? I do, actually. Recently I have been paying much more attention to my PS3 than my X360. Although some games just run better on the X360 because of the INSTALL GAME ON HDD FEATURE. The biggest failure of my gaming experience, Dragon Age 2 on PS3 made me turn it in to a sharp-edged Frisbee and toss it back to Gamestop (sorry for cursing) and got it exchanged to the X360 version because the dude behind the counter had the same freezing problem with the PS3 version (lol) and the game was f***ing terrible too. Oh, right, money I must venture the cold outdoors and sell my body. I shall return! Game on.
