@HipHopBeats @games_are_fun71 Super Mario Galaxy 2 got a 10.... well deserved though, but judging the platform and gameplay and graphics - naahhh.. not quite
@games_are_fun71 Kevin is known for not giving a full-house :) but looking at his interview with Ken Levine, and entire Gamespot transforming in the Bioshock Infinite outrage as being ultra awesome - I really don't understand what the hell is going on. I haven't played it yet, but I can feel on my gut that this title is a massive winner.
@jubdeidamasta @PsiZombie See it like this - when I hear RPG, I hear Final Fantasy, Skyrim etc. which has no relevance in the FPS genre at all (other than the face-camera angle in Skyrim) - but it's the choices you can make in the line of your quests / side-quests, trading crap, building XP etc. Bioshock 1 had great elements of freedom of movement and freedom of upgrading your skills and buying useful stuff - but the main quest was still basic, like any FPS (except, for instance Fallout 3, which I consider a FPS-RPG).. maybe it's just me, but I fail seeing the RPG feeling in the Bioshock series (without having played Infinite yet - still downloading).
@WCK619 @PsiZombie Try play a title and actually pay attention to what you're being dragged in to. I have played both System Shocks, Bioshocks, and can only say (as a dedicated gamer since start 1990's) that they have left a special mark on my gaming experience. Maybe you're just commenting on a genre that's not your thing..
I refer RPG games as a lot of talk, and taking quests from point A untill my own underwear. The way you kill Goonies and upgrade your gear is another element.
Just bought this game.., still downloading though. All the vids I've seen, and judging my PC's specs - this will be an experience worth remembering. I would never get a game of this magnitude for console, like Far Cry 3 on highest graphical options.. looking much forward to this!
