[QUOTE="PuddinPant"]Yeah, I love the chariot. I would have to say Botch is probably better then both Norma Jean and The chariot though. They kind of got it all started. Well of course the name doesn't represent the musical talent of the group but I automatically lose respect for them when it's something stupid. battlefront23I'm not that big of a fan of deathcore, but I do like The Chariot. Have you heard of For Today? If not, check out the song "Agape." I like them, they're just way to much like the rest of the heavy bands right now. A plea for purging, impending doom, all shall perish etc. Check out these two bands. I think you'll like em. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FYccW2w0E0 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8WSoKzhVfY also everytime I die is really good. I'm sure you've heard them before but if you haven't you need to give em a listen.
Sorry man I can never get the names right! It's so confusing to me! :P Totally dude, I'm up for anything! And will give it a try than I guess. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpIXKbACSFI Unfortunately, the no longer sound like this album. Very unfortunate, IMO.[QUOTE="battlefront23"]
[QUOTE="black_cat19"]UnSun are not Symphonic, they're just Gothic Metal, and one of the best bands I've heard in the genre lately; best use of piano I've ever heard outside of Symphonic Metal, and they don't just play power chords, there's some actual musicianship to be found there. Anyway, since Entwine (Gothic Metal) was the only band I was able to get you into way back then, I figured you would also like this. :D
As for actual Symphonic Metal, I showed you some of that back then but you didn't seem to like it. :(
How about I make you a deal: you let me have one more shot at getting you into Symphonic Metal, and I'll listen to whatever links you want to show me in turn? :P
black_cat19
Hey, that was actually pretty good for whatever-core that was! :D
Unfortunately, I still had to say pretty good FOR... but at least it didn't make my ears bleed like iwrestledabearonce and Job for a Cowboy. :P
Wow... I'm speechless. Really?[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"][QUOTE="battlefront23"] I was slowly getting into in with the build-up... And then I heard the vocals. Sorry chessmaster. Sorry. :Pbattlefront23
:( you're no fun! :P
My bad, man. My bad. I really like when singer and screaming (or growling ;) ) is alternated. What form of metal has that type of consistent change of vocals? Death Metal. Deathcore. Listen to As Blood Runs Black[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"][QUOTE="battlefront23"] Hmm, yes that is a better term for it. And I really don't like that. :Pbattlefront23
Ahh was worth a shot. :P
How about this?
I was slowly getting into in with the build-up... And then I heard the vocals. Sorry chessmaster. Sorry. :P I'm the same way dude. The vocals on bands like that are more comedic than musical to me. What really gets me is there names though. Kamelot? Edenbridge? Is this a band or an RPG? Anyway, that emperor song sounded liked it was recorded in an underwater cave. Or a wind tunnel.Bombay Bicycle Club was really good. I would like xx if they didn't look like goth kids from the 90s. Anyway, lately I've been listening to ALOT of These Arms Are Snakes. And just recently started listening to Wold Parade, Faraquet, and Monsters http://www.myspace.com/monstersband Give monsters a listen. They're awesome. The xx (check Crystalised and Hot Like Fire) and Bombay Bicycle Club (Always Like This).
